Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize an apparatus and enhance a separating efficiency by constructing an oil and water separating pipe by a multi-chamber structure such as a honeycomb structure.

CONSTITUTION: A separating pore 10 of an oil and water separating pipe 4 is constructed from a honeycomb structure and this separating pipe 4 is arranged in an inclined manner at the side of a supply port 2 of an oil and water blended liquid between a filter layer 9 and a water take-out instrument 5 in a tank 13. The oil and water blended liquid is entered within a separating pore 10 of an oil and water separating pipe 4 through a filter layer 9 and raised along the inclined slope. An oil and a water is separated by the density difference thereof while passed through a separating port 10 and the oil component and the water component are separated in an upper and a lower portion respectively at the leading end thereof and flowed. The oil component is discharged from an oil outlet 7 and is raised through a gap between a separating plate 8 which is interrupted by a separating plate 8 of a water take-out instrument 5 and an oil and water separating pipe 4 and stored in the upper portion of a hoeycomb structure of an oil separating pipe. The water is taken out from a water take-out pipe 6 and taken out from a discharging port 3 through a oil absorbing layer 12. A leading end port 11 formed at a leading end of a water take-out pipe 6 is preferably inclined downwardly.
