Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the thermal efficiency of the dehumidifier by changing regenerative air corresponding to the variation of air to be treated while the heat of the regenerative heater corresponding to the variation in the humidity at the dehumidifying rotor inlet of air to be treated.
CONSTITUTION: A dehumidifying rotor 1 is driven in the direction of the arrow X to rotate blowers 4 and 14 so that air to be treated and regenerative air flow in the directions of Y and Z along the respective passages 2 and 3. Consequently, the air to be treated and the generative air pass through regions A and B corresponding to the areas of about 3/4 and 1/4 as large as the cross-section of the dehumidifier 1 respectively divided by partitions 15 and 16 while the air to be treated is dehumidified through dehumidification of the rotor 1 caused by the regenerative air heated with a heater 9. At this point, a regenerative air flow control device 13 is controlled through a controller 8 according to the output of an air flow meter 5 while the heat of the heater 9 is caused to change according to the deviation output of hygrometers 6 and 7.
