Abstract

PURPOSE: To surely dispose of the drain of a gas energy revoering turbine, by conducting the drain from high-pressure tanks to a low-pressure tank by the gas pressure.
CONSTITUTION: The exhaust gas of a blast furnace exhaust line 8 is introduced into the turbine 100. After the energy of the gas is recovered, the gas is discharged through a pipe 6. The drain separated from the gas in the turbine 100 is introduced into a plurality of high-pressure sealed tanks 1W4 which are equipped with water level control valves 11, 21, 31, 41, upper limit level switches 12, 22, 32, 42 and lower limit level switches 13, 23, 33, 43 which are opened or closed by a pressure detecting sequencer 60. The drain is conducted from a low-pressure sealed tank 5 to a drain receiver 7. Steam is introduced from a steam pipe 9 into the high-pressure tank 4 to clean the inside of the tanks 1W4 and raise the pressure therein to discharge the drain.
