Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent unnecessary carriers from being transmitted by an excessive noise generated from a modulating circuit when turning on and off the A/C power supply by the modulating device to which the operating voltage is supplied from a terminal device.
CONSTITUTION: When A/C power supply AC of terminal device 5 is connected, D/C voltage +B1, +B2 and -B3 rises with a particular characteristics in D/C power supply circuirt. Under this condition, when capacitor 18 of integration circuit in voltage detection circuit 13 is charged at the time constant determined by resistor 17 and capacitor 18 and integral voltage +B7 starts rising. Integral voltage +B7 reaches the threshold level of inverter 20 when the specified time has elapsed after A/C power supply A is turned on and detection output +B8 changes at a high level. Consequently, operating voltages +B4 and -B5 are supplied from voltage control circuit 14 to transmission circuit 2. When power supply AC is shut-off and DC voltage +B1 starts dropping, the electric charge of capacitor 18 is rapidly discharged through diode 19 and integration voltage +B7 drops lower than the threshold value.
