Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent overcurrent even when a capacitor with large capacitance is employed, by providing a resistor for limiting charging current of capacitor, a bypass diode and a diode for preventing reverse charging of capacitor. CONSTITUTION:Even when the capacity of a capacitor 3 is increased, initial charging current of the capacitor 3 is limited by a current limiting resistor 7. Consequently, overcurrent does not flow into an anti-counter flow diode 2 and voltage drop of a power source 1 due to overload causes no bad influence onto a load 6. Since a current limiting resistor 7 is inserted, long time is required until charging voltage of the capacitor 3 increases to a level for enabling operation of the load 3 during initial charging stage. Consequently, a, bypass diode 8 is connected to supply power normally from the power source 1 through the bypass diode 8 to the load 5.
