Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a condenser with the turbine exhaust steam naturally conducted into a heat exchanging unit of the condenser, by means of guiding the turbine exhaust steam flowing through the steam passage portion constructed by a top main unit barrel of the condenser and a cover for enclosing an ejector pipe and feed water heater.
CONSTITUTION: An exhaust steam S, if drawn out from a turbine 13, flows at high speed downward through a steam flow path 28, constructed by a cover 20 and a top main barrel 11 of the condenser, being conducted to a heat exchanging unit. The steam from an ejector goes into a top side of the section A of a header 19 partitioned by a separating plate 23, passing through a slit 24 of a separating plate 21 to flow into the right side partitioned by a separating plate 22 of the section B of the header 19, being sent to the feed water heater from a steam outlet seat 27. And the steam from an ejector 17 goes into a bottom side of the section A of the header 19 partitioned by the separating plate 23 of the section B ofthe header 19 from through a slit 25 of the separating plate 21.
