Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out the welding work at a heat input restricted under the allowable value against the sensitization of the material, which tends to sensitize owing to the welding-heat-input, etc., by processing the temperature hysteresis of the heat-affected zone being specified owing to the condition of welding-heat-input, as the parameter variation, in an electronic computer, and by controlling the cumulated value for each of weld layers.
CONSTITUTION: The signal being set at the welding-condition-input 1 is sent to the welding condition selector 2 and is divided into suitable values for welding-condition-control circuit 3 and control-indication-circuit 5. The circuit 3 actuates welding torch portion 4 and the circuit 5 actuates driving portion 6. The correction circuit 8 compares the value of indication of circuit 3 with the output of torch portion 4, and the correction circuit 9 compares the indication of circuit 5 with the output of driving portion 6; hereby, a necessary correction signal is sent to selector 2. The weld zone 7 the same as the initial set is formed by actions of torch portion 4 and driving portion 6. The thermal hysteresis of heat-affected-zone during the first pass is caught depending on the formula for the thermal conduction, and is compare with signal of evaluation-set-value 11 in the computer 10, which gives the correction signal for obtaining suitable welding condition to the selector 2 as the welding condition hereafter; and this operation is repeated.
