Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the control of the temp. of base metals to a specified temp. so that satisfactory joining can be executed by detecting the temp. of a brazing filler metal under heating by a temp. detecting means and ending an operation when the detected temp. rises to a temp. slightly higher than the melting temp. of the brazing filler metal. CONSTITUTION:The base metals are pipes consisting of STPG38.50A material and silver solder BAg-1 having the prescribed melting temp. is used for the brazing filler metal. The output stop temp. of a temp. control unit 18 is set slightly higher than the prescribed melting temp. mentioned above. The current of the direction reverse from the current of a heating coil 10 flows to the outside peripheral face of the base metals 12 and the base metals are heated by the generated Joule heat via the lines of the magnetic forces generated from the annular heating part of a heating coil 10 when the AC current outputted from the high-frequency power supply 14 is passed to the coil 10.
