Abstract
PURPOSE: To establish the high voltage processing method and its unit to give the dielectric strength performance for excellent cathode ray tube, in the cathode ray tube of the system applying high voltage from the stem pin.
CONSTITUTION: The stem 1 of the cathode ray tube is enclosed with the package 17, and high pressure gas is introduced from external through the pipe 18, increasing the creepage discharge initiating voltage between stem pins. High voltage is applied to the socket pins 11a and 11b through the electrode terminal 19 built through the wall of the package 17 from external. The package 17 and the neck 1 are tightened through insertion such as packing.
