Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the energy efficiency by using a magnetic fluid as the heat medium.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic fluid having a specific gravity of approximately 1.3 to 1.7 which is dispersion of ferrite or magnetite fine particles in paraffin, ester, water, and the like as a heat medium 2, is filled between a collector 6 and an accumulator- radiator 7 and circulated by natural convection or by a movable magnetic flux source 8 to absorb and accumulate a solar energy in daytime and convert it to a warm air 12 by a fan at night, whereby the quantity loss rate of the heat medium 2 is reduced and efficient heat exchange can be preformed due to non-volatile property of the magnetic fluid and the circulation thereof by the use of an external movable magnetic flux source 8 for desired energy efficiency improvement.
