Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.例えば車両のヘッドライトに使用されるための、高圧ガス放電ランプ(6 )の高速始動用制御装置であって、直流電圧源(1,2)の直流電圧(UB)か ら、場合によっては直流電流作動においても交流電流作動においても作動するこ とができる制御される給電回路(3)を用いて、高圧ガス放電ランプ(6)に燃 焼エネルギーを供給するためのランプ電流(IL)およびランプ電圧(UL)が発 生され、かつ前記給電回路(3)を制御するための制御回路(7)並びに高圧ガ ス放電ランプ(6)を点灯するための点灯装置(3)が設けられている形式のも のにおいて、 前記制御回路(7)は前記給電回路(3)を、前記高圧ガス放電ランプ(6)が 始動の際に、フリッカないしライトブリッジが回避されるように所定の過負荷に よって作動されるように制御し、かつ該過負荷は前記制御回路(7)によって、 前記高圧ガス放電ランプ(6)の状態、例えば高圧ガス放電ランプ(6)の温度 に依存して制御される ことを特徴とする制御装置。 2.前記制御回路(7)は前記高圧ガス放電ランプ(6)の温度を電極(11 ,12)および高圧ガス放電ランプ(6)のガス(13)の温度に従って分けて 考慮する 請求項1記載の制御装置。 3.前記高圧ガス放電ランプ(6)の状態を求めるために、前記制御回路(7 )は該高圧ガス放電ランプ(6)ないし前記給電回路(3)の、点灯過程後直ぐ の電流および/または電圧経過を観察しかつその際前記給電回路(3)の内部抵 抗との関連において生じた、該高圧ガス放電ランプ(6)の種々の状態に対して 特徴的な電流・電圧経過を検出し、この場合該電流・電圧経過は該高圧ガス放電 ランプ(6)の種々の状態において有意に異なっているものである 請求項1または2記載の制御装置。 4.前記高圧ガス放電ランプ(6)の状態を前記制御回路(7)によって該高 圧ガス放電ランプ(6)ないし前記給電回路(3)の電流および/または電圧経 過を用いて求める際に、電流および/または電圧限界値のみならず、点灯過程後 の最初の時間間隔における例えばダイナミック曲線経過も用いられる 請求項3記載の制御装置。 5.前記制御回路(7)はマイクロコントローラを含んでおり、該マイクロコ ントローラは、前記高圧ガス放電ランプ(6)の状態を該制御回路(7)におい て求めるために必要な観察を実施しかつ所属の状態を検出する 請求項1からまでのいずれか1項記載の制御装置。 6.前記マイクロコントローラは、前記高圧ガス放 電ランプ(6)の検出された状態に依存して次の重要な制御措置を実施する: 冷間時高圧ガス放電ランプにおいて、給電回路の高い出力電流を時間的に制限さ れた過負荷関数によって維持し、 高温時高圧ガス放電ランプにおいて、検出後直ちにランプ出力を定格値に低下さ せ、更に 熱間時高圧ガス放電ランプにおいて、ランプ出力を弱い過負荷に低下させる 請求項4または5記載の制御装置。 7.接続形成されている過負荷を制御するための過負荷関数は、時間制御と燃 焼電圧に依存した制御との組み合わせである 請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の制御装置。 8.前記過負荷関数は時間的に制限されている 請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の制御装置。
