Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.B相の中に分散されているA相のドロップレットからなり、AがBに不混 和性である2次乳濁液であり、前記のB相の中に分散されている前記のA相から なる同一配合の多分散の1次乳濁液を出発原料とし、あらゆる場合において2次 乳濁液のドロップレットが1次乳濁液のドロップレットの直径よりも小さな直径 を有している前記の2次乳濁液の製造方法であって、出発原料である1次乳濁液 が粘弾性的であること、および乳濁液全体に同じ最大剪断応力がかかるように制 御されている剪断応力に前記の出発原料である1次乳濁液が付されることを特徴 とする方法。 2.出発原料である1次乳濁液の連続相が粘弾性的であることを特徴とする、 請求項1に記載の方法。 3.低い剪断速度において各粘度が測定される場合、出発原料である1次乳濁 液の有効粘度が分散相Aの粘度よりも高いことを特徴とする、請求項1または2 のいずれかに記載の方法。 4.低い剪断速度において各粘度が測定される場合、連続相Bの粘度が分散相 Aの粘度よりも高いことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の方法。 5.前記の乳濁液を動いている固体表面と接触させることにより剪断応力の制 御を達成し、乳濁液の流れを特徴づける速度勾配を前記の動いている固体表面の 方向と垂直な方向において一定とすることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれ かに記載の方法。 6.(1)出発原料である1次乳濁液の連続相が粘弾性的であること、 (2)低い剪断速度において各粘度が測定される場合、出発原料である1次乳 濁液の有効粘度が分散相Aの粘度よりも高いこと、お よび (3)前記の乳濁液を動いている固体表面と接触させることにより剪断応力の 制御を達成し、乳濁液の流れを特徴づける速度勾配を前記の動いている固体表面 のそれと垂直な方向において一定とすること、 を特徴とする、単分散の2次乳濁液の製造のための請求項1〜5のいずれかに記 載の方法。 7.低い剪断速度において各粘度が測定される場合、連続相Bの粘度が分散相 Aの粘度よりも高いことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。 8.出発原料である1次乳濁液が、B相の中に分散されているA相を少なくと も65重量%、好ましくは少なくとも80%含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜7の いずれかに記載の方法。 9.出発原料である1次乳濁液が5重量%を超えない界面活性剤を含むことを 特徴とする、請求項2〜8のいずれかに記載の方法。 10.出発原料である1次乳濁液が水中油形であることを特徴とする、請求項 1〜9のいずれかに記載の方法。 11.前記の油がシリコーン、好ましくはケイ素に結合されている有機基がC1 〜C16アルキル、フェニルおよびビニル基並びに水素原子から選ばれるポリジ オルガノシロキサンであることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。 12.前記のシリコーンがポリジメチルシロキサンであることを特徴とする、 請求項11に記載の方法。 13.出発原料である1次乳濁液が1種以上の界面活性剤を含むことを特徴と する、請求項1に記載の方法。 14.前記の界面活性剤が水性相の重量の20〜40%に相当することを特徴とす る、請求項10〜13のいずれかに記載の方法。 15.出発原料である1次乳濁液のドロップレットが1〜100μmに及ぶ直径 を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の方法。 16.剪断速度の最大値が1〜1×106s-1であることを特徴とする、請求項 1〜15のいずれかに記載の方法。 17.お互いに関して回転している2つの同軸シリンダーからなる容器を使用 して剪断応力が達成されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載 の方法。 18.お互いに関して往復運動をしている2つの平行板からなる容器を使用し て剪断応力が達成されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜17のいずれかに記載の 方法。 19.お互いに関して回転している2つの同軸円板からなる容器を使用して剪 断応力が達成されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜18のいずれかに記載の方法 。 20.多分散の1次乳濁液を出発原料とする単分散の2次乳濁液の製造のため の、請求項1〜19のいずれかに記載の方法の使用。 21.5重量%未満の界面活性剤を含む2次乳濁液の製造のための、請求項1 〜20のいずれかに記載の方法の使用。
