Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.衛星、地上またはケールブル放送に適する複数の異なる変調形式のうちの1 つにおいてビデオ情報で変調された搬送波を受信し適応的に処理するシステムに おける適応型復調回路であって、 前記変調された搬送波からタイミング・データを再生するタイミング再生回路 (25)と、 前記タイミング・データに応答して前記ビデオ情報を再生する適応型搬送波再 生回路と、 前記搬送波再生回路内に在り、前記ビデオ情報を再生するために前記搬送波再 生回路より供給されるデータに、複数の組の判定閾値から選択された一組の判定 閾値を加える、選択可能なスライサ回路(30,35,40)とを含む、前記適 応型復調回路。 2.前記スライサ回路の前に発生された信号と前記スライサ回路の後に発生され た信号との差に応じて利得制御出力を発生する自動利得制御(AGC)回路(2 5;270)を更に含む、請求項1記載のシステム。 3.前記タイミング再生回路が、前記変調された搬送波の超過帯域幅の変動を補 償するために構成可能なフィルタを含む、請求項1記載のシステム。 4.前記選択可能なスライサ回路が、PAM,QPSKまたはQAMシンボル座 標分布のために適正な判定閾値を供給する、請求項1記載のシステム。 5.前記ビデオ情報の変調形式が、複数のシンボル点を含んでいるシンボル座標 分布を使用する、請求項1記載のシステム。 6.前記搬送波再生回路が更に、伝送路に関連する誤差を補正するために選択可 能な等化フィルタ回路(220)を含み、前記等化フィルタ回路の構成が前記被 変調搬送波の変調形式に従って選択される、請求項1記載のシステム。 7.前記選択可能な等化回路がフィード・フォワード等化フィルタと判定フィー ドバック等化器とを含んでいる、請求項6記載のシステム。 8.前記搬送波再生回路より発生される信号を差分的に復号する差分的デコーダ (45)を更に含んでいる、請求項1記載のシステム。 9.前記搬送波再生回路が異なるクロック周波数で動作することのできる、請求 項1記載のシステム。 10.再生されたビデオ情報に生じる誤差の推定を出力として供給する、信号の 品質検出器(275)を更に含んでいる、請求項1記載のシステム。 11.前記適応型搬送波再生回路が、前記誤差推定に応答して前記ビデオ変調さ れた搬送波の変調形式に両立するように自動的に構成される、請求項10記載の システム。 12.前記誤差の推定が、前記搬送波再生回路で処理される信号の直交成分の平 方の和の関数である、請求項10記載のシステム。 13.前記誤差の推定が第1と第2の値の差の関数であり、前記第1の値は前記 スライサ回路に入力される信号の直交成分の平方の和を表し、前記第2の値は前 記スライサ回路からの出力信号の直交成分の平方の和を表す、請求項10記載の システム。 14.複数の異なる入力形式のうちの1つの形式でデータを含んでいる入力信号 を適応的に処理する受像機において、前記データが複数の異なる符号化形式のう ちの1つの形式で符号化されており、 受信された入力信号の形式に応じて前記入力信号からタイミング情報を再生す る適応型タイミング再生回路(25)と、 前記タイミング情報に応答して前記データを再生する適応型データ再生回路( 25)と、 前記データ再生回路内に在り、前記データを再生する前記データ再生回路より 供給されるデータに、複数の組の判定閾値から選択された一組の判定閾値を加え る、選択可能なスライサ回路(30,35,60)と、 受信されたデータ符号化形式に応じて前記再生されたデータを選択的に復号し て、再生され復号された出力データを発生する適応型デコーダ(12)とを含ん でいる、装置。 15.前記入力信号が前記データで変調された搬送波であり、前記入力形式が変 調形式であり、前記変調形式と符号化形式が衛星放送、地上放送またはケーブル 放送に適しており、且つ前記データ再生回路が搬送波再生回路である、請求項1 4記載の装置。 16.前記再生され復号された出力データに生じる誤差の推定を出力として発生 する、信号の品質検出器(275)を更に含んでいる、請求項15または18に 記載の装置。 17.前記適応型受像機が、前記誤差の推定に応答して前記受信された搬送波変 調形式と両立するように自動的に構成される、請求項16記載の装置。 18.複数の異なる変調形式のうちの1つの形式でビデオ・データで変調される 搬送波を適応的に処理する受像機であって、前記変調ビデオ・データが複数の異 なる形式のうちの1つの形式で符号化され、 受信された搬送波変調形式に応じて前記変調された搬送波からタイミング・デ ータを再生する適応型タイミング再生回路(25)と、 前記タイミング・データに応答して、前記被変調搬送波から変調データを再生 する適応型搬送波再生回路(25)と、 前記搬送波再生回路内に在り、複数の組の判定閾値から選択される一組の判定 閾値を、前記変調データを再生する前記搬送波再生回路より供給されるデータに 加える、選択可能なスライサ回路(30,35,40)と、 前記再生された変調データをビタビ復号し且つ、ビタビ復号された出力を、受 信されたデータ符号化形式に応じて供給する適応型のビタビデコーダ(50,6 0)と、 前記ビタビ復号された出力をデインターリーブし且つ、複数のデインターリー ブ関数から選択されたデインターリーブ関数に従って出力を発生する適応型デイ ンターリーバー(80,85,90)と、 前記デインターリーブされた出力に応答する適応型誤差処理装置(110)と 、 前記誤差処理装置からの出力のスクランブルを解除するデスクランブラー( 115)とを含んでいる、前記受像機。
