Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.溶融炭酸塩型燃料電池のための電極の製造方法において、コバルト金属−お よび炭酸リチウム粉末を互いに混合し、その後にこの混合物からシート状物を製 造し、該シート状物から板状物を製造し、これを焼結して電極前駆体板状物とし 、次いでこの電極前駆体板状物を400℃〜488℃の温度で流動する空気に、 電極前駆体板状物がコバルト酸化反応および炭酸リチウム生成反応によてに極め て大きな内部表面積を持つリチウムコバルタイト電極板に変換されるまで委ねる ことを特徴とする、上記方法。 2.温度が420〜480℃である請求項1に記載の方法。 3.空気の二酸化炭素含有量が1%より少ない請求項1または2に記載の方法。 4.空気の二酸化炭素含有量が1%より多くそして空気が2%より多い水蒸気含 有量を有している請求項1または2に記載の方法。 5.電極前駆体板状物がニッケルよりなる多孔質の基体の上に薄い層として析出 され、リチウムコバルタイト電極が酸化ニッケル基体の上に固着した層として造 られる請求項1〜4のいずれか一つに記載の方法。 6.電極前駆体板状物を炉中でコバルト酸化反応およびリチウムコバルタイト生 成反応に付し、そしてそのリチウムコバルタイト電極板をそれぞれ冷却の後で、 溶融炭酸塩で充填されたマトリックス層およびアノード層と一緒にして燃料電池 に相応する層配列とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載の方法。 7.電極前駆体板状物を溶融炭酸塩で充填されたマトリックス層およびアノード 層と一緒にして、燃料電池中で配列される層配列とし、リチウムコバルタイト− カソード板状物を燃料電池中で初期段階にLiKCO3−溶融電解質の溶融温度 より下で製造する請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
