Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.カルシウム、硫酸根、マグネシウム又はこれらの混合物を含むイオン性不 純物を含む出発セシウム化合物を精製する方法であって、可溶化された出発セシ ウム化合物を含む溶液中に存在するカルシウム、硫酸根、マグネシウム又はこれ らの混合物を含む不純物を、適切な沈殿剤と反応させて、前記1つ又は複数の不 純物を含む不溶性沈殿を形成することを含む方法。 2.前記イオン性不純物が硫酸根を含み、前記沈殿剤がバリウムイオンを含む 、請求項1の方法。 3.前記イオン性不純物がマグネシウムを含み、前記沈殿剤がヒドロキシルイ オンを含む、請求項1又は2の方法。 4.前記イオン性不純物がカルシウムを含み、前記沈殿剤がヒドロキシルイオ ンを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 5.前記イオン性不純物がカルシウムを含み、前記沈殿剤が炭酸イオン又は二 酸化炭素を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 6.前記バリウムイオン及びヒドロキシルイオンの源が水酸化バリウムを含む 請求項2〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 7.前記炭酸イオンが炭酸アルカリを含む請求項2〜6のいずれか1項に記載 の方法。 8.前記出発セシウム化合物が、ギ酸セシウム、硝酸セシウム、塩化セシウム 、ヨウ化セシウム、臭化セシウム又は酢酸セシウムである請求項1〜7のいずれ か1項に記載の方法。 9.前記出発セシウム化合物が石灰を利用する製造方法で製造されている請求 項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 10.前記可溶化された出発セシウム化合物を含む溶液中の硫酸イオンの化学 量論的量に略等しい量のバリウムイオンが加えられる、請求項2〜9のいずれか 1項に記載の方法。 11.前記可溶化された出発セシウム化合物を含む溶液のpHを11.5又はそ れ以上に上げるに充分な量でヒドロキシルイオンが加えられる請求項3〜10の 方法。 12.カルシウム、マグネシウム又はこれらの混合物を含むイオン性不純物を 含む硫酸セシウム化合物を精製する方法であって、可溶化された出発硫酸セシウ ム化合物を含む溶液中に存在するカルシウム、マグネシウム又はこれらの混合物 を含む不純物を、適切な沈殿剤と反応させて、1つ又は複数の不溶性不純物を形 成することを含む方法。 13.前記イオン性不純物がマグネシウムを含み、前記沈殿剤がヒドロキシル イオンを含む、請求項12の方法。 14.前記イオン性不純物がカルシウムを含み、前記沈殿剤がヒドロキシルイ オンを含む、請求項12又は13の方法。 15.前記イオン性不純物がカルシウムを含み、前記沈殿剤が炭酸イオン又は 二酸化炭素を含む、請求項12〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 16.前記ヒドロキシルイオンの源が、元素の周期律表の第1A族及び第2A 族から選ばれる金属の水酸化物並びにこれらの混合物を含む、請求項13〜15 のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 17.前記炭酸イオンの源が炭酸アルカリを含む請求項15又は16の方法。 18.可溶化された出発硫酸セシウムを含む溶液のpHを11.5に上げるに充 分な量のヒドロキシルイオンが加えられる、請求項13〜17のいずれか1項に 記載の方法。 19.0.50%未満の硫酸基、0.3%未満のバリウム、カルシウム、又は マグネシウムを含む化合物、及び0.2%の他の多価陽イオン不純物を含む請求 項1〜11のいずれかの方法で製造されたセシウム化合物。 20.次のものを含む請求項1〜11のいずれかの方法で製造されたセシウム 化合物: 1000ppm未満の硫酸根; 1000ppm未満のカルシウム; 1000ppm未満のバリウム;及び 1000ppm未満のマグネシウム。 21.次のものを含む請求項12〜18のいずれかの方法で製造された硫酸セ シウム化合物: 0.3%未満のバリウム、カルシウム、又はマグネシウムを含む化合物、及び 0.2%未満の他の多価陽イオン性不純物。 22.次のものを含む請求項12〜18のいずれかの方法で製造された硫酸セ シウム化合物: 1000ppm未満のカルシウム; 1000ppm未満のバリウム;及び 1000ppm未満のマグネシウム。 23.前記可溶化された出発セシウム化合物が次の方法で製造される請求項1 〜11のいずれかの方法: セシウム含有物質を、この物質中に含まれるセシウムの少なくとも一部を溶解 するに適した薬剤で処理し、セシウムミョウバン、硫酸セシウム又はフッ化セシ ウムを含むスラリーを形成すること; 消石灰又は炭酸カルシウムを含む塩基及び望みの出発セシウム化合物の陰イオ ンを含む酸を、溶解されたセシウムを含む前記スラリーに加えて可溶化されたセ シウム化合物を形成すること;並びに 可溶化されたセシウム化合物溶液を、出発セシウム含有物質の残りのものの存 在下に分離すること。 24.前記可溶化された出発硫酸セシウムが次のことを含む方法で製造される 請求項12〜18のいずれかの方法: セシウム含有物質を、この物質中に含まれるセシウムの少なくとも一部を溶解 するに適した薬剤で処理し、セシウムミョウバンを含むスラリーを形成すること ; 消石灰又は炭酸カルシウムを含む塩基を、溶解されたセシウムを含む前記スラ リーに加えて可溶化された硫酸セシウム化合物を形成すること;及び 可溶化された硫酸セシウム化合物溶液を、出発セシウム含有物質の残りのもの の存在下に分離すること。 25.次のものを含む比重が約1.2g/cm3〜約2.5g/cm3の流体:乾燥 塩基準で、0.50%未満の塩化物基(chloride group)又は硫 酸基、0.3%未満のアルミニウム、バリウム、カルシウム、又はマグネシウム を含む化合物、及び0.2%未満の他の多価陽イオン性不純物を含む約10〜約 100%のギ酸セシウムを含む水性混合物。 26.前記ギ酸セシウムが次のものを含む請求項25の流体: 1000ppm未満の硫酸根; 1000ppm未満のカルシウム; 1000ppm未満のバリウム;及び 1000ppm未満のマグネシウム。 27.前記ギ酸セシウム及び前記流体が更に約10〜90%のギ酸カリウム及 び/又はギ酸ナトリウムを含む請求項25の掘穿流体。 28.前記ギ酸化合物が共形成されている(coformed) 2求項27の掘穿流体。 29.0.50%未満の塩化物基(chloride group)又は硫酸 基、0.3%未満のアルミニウム、カルシウム、又はマグネシウムの化合物、及 び0.2%未満の他の多価陽イオン性不純物を含む所定のセシウム化合物、並び に異なった金属及び所定のセシウム化合物の陰イオンを含む化合物を含む共形成 された(coformed)混合物。 30.セシウム含有物質を、この物質中に含まれるセシウムの少なくとも一部 を溶解するに適した薬剤で処理して、セシウムミョウバン、硫酸セシウム又はフ ッ化セシウムを含むスラリーを形成し、未溶解の固体をこのスラリーから分離し 、そして消石灰又は炭酸カルシウムを含む塩基及び望みの出発セシウム化合物の 陰イオンを含む酸を、前記溶解されたセシウムを含有するろ液に加えて、カルシ ウム、硫酸根、マグネシウム又はこれらの混合物を含むイオン性不純物を含む所 定のセシウム化合物を形成する、所定のセシウム化合物の製造方法において、 前記可溶化されたセシウム化合物を含む溶液中のカルシウム、硫酸根、マグネ シウム又はこれらの混合物を含む不純物を適切な沈殿剤と反応させて、前記1つ 又は複数の不純物を含む不溶性物を形成することにより、前記セシウム化合物を 精製することを特徴とする方法。
