Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.光拡散シート材料の光学的特性を変化させる方法であって、少なくともあ る温度で変形できる前記材料からなるシートを準備する工程と、前記シート材料 の平面における少なくとも一つの軸に沿って前記材料を変形する工程とを含んで なる方法。 2.非対称光拡散特性を有する光拡散シート材料の製造方法であって、少なく ともある温度で変形できる光拡散シート材料を準備する工程と、前記シート材料 の平面における軸に沿って選択的に前記材料を延伸する工程とを含んでなる製造 方法。 3.変形又は別の延伸工程に附する光拡散シート材料が、屈折率を変えて並べ たレンズを含んでなる請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 4.変形又は別の延伸工程に附する光拡散材料が、第一屈折率の複数の粒子を 第二屈折率の材料からなるマトリックスに埋め込んで含んでなる請求項1又は2 に記載の方法。 5.変形又は別の延伸工程に附する光拡散材料が、表面がレリーフ形状をして 前記シートに光拡散性を付与している請求項1、2又は3に記載の方法。 6.光拡散シート材料の光拡散特性を変更、特に前記シート材料の偏光拡散特 性を変更する方法であって、前記シート材料が少なくともある温度で変形できる ものである方法において、前記材料をその伸長面を延伸することを含んでなる方 法。 7.前記シート材料を、前記変形前、変形後又は変形中に架橋する、前記請求 項のいずれかに記載の方法。 8.所望の視角特性又は非対称分散特性が得られるように配向したポリマーフ ィルムを含んでなる光学的表示装置又は光拡散スクリーン。 9.反射基材を有する配向ポリマーフィルムを含んでなる請求項8に記載のス クリーン。 10.前記ポリマーフィルムが、屈折率を変えて並べたレンズを組み込んだ感 光性ポリマーフィルムであって、これらのレンズが前記ポリマーの配向によ りそれらの光学軸に垂直な一方向に伸長している請求項8又は9に記載のスクリ ーン。 11.前記ポリマーフィルムは、ドーム又はくぼみ形成表面屈折ミクロレンズ を並べて形成した表面を有し、前記ミクロレンズが前記ポリマーの配向によりそ れらの光学軸に垂直な一方向に伸長している請求項8〜10のいずれかに記載の スクリーン。 12.前記ポリマーが第一ポリマーからなるマトリックスを含んでなり、前記 マトリックスに前記第一ポリマーとは異なる屈折率の第二ポリマーからなる複数 の粒子が埋め込まれており、前記粒子が、前記粒子の全てについて実質的に同じ である単一又は複数の方向に球形とは相対的に偏平となっている請求項8〜11 のいずれかに記載のスクリーン。 13.前記ポリマーが第一ポリマーからなるマトリックスを含んでなり、前記 マトリックスに前記第一ポリマーとは異なる屈折率の第二ポリマーからなる複数 の粒子が埋め込まれており、前記ポリマーフィルムの少なくとも一方の表面が隆 起又はドーム形状のミクロレンズを並べて有し、各前記隆起又はドームが各前記 粒子の上にある請求項8〜11のいずれかに記載のスクリーン。 14.前記ポリマーフィルムが架橋している、請求項10〜13のいずれかに 記載のスクリーン。 15.実質的に前記した、非対称光拡散特性を有する光拡散材料の製造方法。 16.請求項8及び実質的に前記した、スクリーン。 17.請求項8〜13のいずれかに記載されているか、請求項1〜6のいずれ かの方法により製造されたスクリーンを組み込んだ光学システム。 18.本明細書に記載の新規な特徴また特徴の組み合わせ。
