Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.バッテリ電圧を有するバッテリパックであって: 正バッテリ端子および負バッテリ端子を有する少なくとも1個のバッテリセル ; スイッチ信号に応答し、少なくともONおよびOFFのスイッチ状態を有する 一方向閉鎖スイッチ手段であって、前記バッテリパックに供給される充電電流が 当該スイッチ手段のスイッチ状態に拘らず当該スイッチ手段を流れるように、前 記少なくとも1個のバッテリセルと直列に結合されている一方向閉鎖スイッチ手 段;および 前記バッテリ電圧に応答して、前記スイッチ信号を発生する電圧コントロール スイッチ手段; から構成されることを特徴とするバッテリパック。 2.前記電圧コントロールスイッチ手段は、前記バッテリ電圧が所定不足電圧レ ベルより大きいときに、前記一方向閉鎖スイッチをON状態に維持することを特 徴とする請求項1記載のバッテリパック。 3.前記少なくとも1個のバッテリセルは、ニッケルカドミウムセル、ニッケル メタル・ハイドライドセル、リチウムイオンセル、リチウムポリマセル、および それらの組合せから成るグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1記載 のバッテリパック。 4.前記一方向閉鎖スイッチ手段は: 1個のトランジスタスイッチ;および 陽極が前記少なくとも1個のバッテリセルに接続され、前記トランジスタス イッチ手段と並列に接続される1個のダイオード; から構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のバッテリパック。 5.前記一方向閉鎖スイッチ手段は、ダイオードを含むMOSFETであること を特徴とする請求項1記載のバッテリパック。 6.電圧コントロールスイッチ手段は: エミッタ、コレクタおよびベース端子を有し、前記エミッタ端子は前記バッテ リパックの前記正バッテリ端子に接続し、前記コレクタ端子は前記一方向閉鎖ス イッチ手段に接続する、バイポーラトランジスタ; 前記正バッテリ端子と前記負バッテリ端子との間に直列に結合し、中間ノード を形成する第1および第2ドライバ抵抗;および 前記バイポーラトランジスタの前記ベース端子と前記第1および第2ドライバ 抵抗の前記中間ノードとの間に接続する第1結合抵抗器; から構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のバッテリパック。 7.第2スイッチ信号に応答し、少なくともONおよびOFFのスイッチ状態を 有する第2一方向閉鎖スイッチ手段であって、前記バッテリパックからの放電電 流が当該スイッチ手段のスイッチ状態に拘らず当該スイッチ手段を流れるように 、前記少なくとも1個のバッテリセルと直列に結合されている第2一方向閉鎖ス イッチ手段;および 前記バッテリ電圧に応答して、前記第2スイッチ信号を発生する第2電圧コン トロールスイッチ手段; からさらに構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のバッテリパック。 8.第2電圧コントロールスイッチ手段は、前記バッテリ電圧が所定過電圧レベ ルより低いときに、第2一方向閉鎖スイッチ手段をON状態に維持することを特 徴とする請求項7記載のバッテリパック。 9.前記第2一方向閉鎖スイッチ手段は: 1個のトランジスタスイッチ;および 陽極を有するダイオードであって、前記トランジスタスイッチと並列に接続 し、前記陽極が前記負バッテリ端子に接続されるように方向付けられている1個 のダイオード; から構成されることを特徴とする請求項7記載のバッテリパック。 10.前記第2一方向閉鎖スイッチ手段は固有ダイオードを含むMOSFETで あることを特徴とする請求項7記載のバッテリパック。 11.第2電圧コントロールスイッチ手段は: エミッタ、コレクタおよびベース端子を有し、前記エミッタ端子は前記バッテ リパックの前記負バッテリ端子に接続し、前記コレクタ端子は前記第2一方向閉 鎖スイッチ手段の前記コントロール入力に接続する第2バイポーラトランジスタ ; 前記正と負バッテリ端子との間に直列に結合し、中間ノードを形成する第3お よび第4分割抵抗器; 前記第2バイポーラトランジスタの前記ベース端子と前記第3および第4分割 抵抗器の前記中間ノードとの間に接続する第2結合抵抗器;および 前記第2一方向閉鎖スイッチ手段の前記コントロール入力と前記正バッテリ端 子との間に接続されている第2バイアス抵抗器; から構成されることを特徴とする請求項7記載のバッテリパック。
