- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 少なくとも一つのキノン化合物と、下記(i)及び(ii)か らなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種を含有するアミン含有ポリマー物質(その アミン含有ポリマー物質は、その構造中に、一級アミノ基、二級アミノ基及びそ れらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一つの反応性アミノ基を有する )との反応生成物を含有する、燃料添加剤又は潤滑油添加剤として有用な油溶性 付加物: (i) 数平均分子量が約300〜20,000の炭化水素ポリマーから 誘導された第一のアミン含有ポリマー、及び (ii)有機金属化合物でマスクされた窒素を含有するモノマーと、エチ レン、C3〜C25のα−オレフィン類及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれ るポリマー鎖モノマーとを重合し、その後、脱灰分処理(deashing)を行って有 機金属化合物を除去するというプロセスによって作られた、炭素−炭素主鎖を有 する第二のアミン含有ポリマー。 2. アミン含有ポリマー物質が第一のアミン含有ポリマーを含有す る、請求項1にかかる付加物。 3. 第一のアミン含有ポリマーが、炭化水素ポリマーで置換された モノ−又はジカルボン酸生成物質と、一級アミノ基、二級アミノ基及びそれらの 混合物からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも二つの反応性アミノ基を含有するアミ ン化合物との反応生成物を含有する、請求項2にかかる付加物。 4. 炭化水素ポリマーで置換されたモノ−又はジカルボン酸生成物 質が、炭化水素ポリマーと、一不飽和モノカルボン酸生成化合物又は一不飽和ジ カルボン酸生成化合物との反応によって作られる、請求項3にかかる付加物。 5. 炭化水素ポリマーで置換されたモノ−又はジカルボン酸生成物 質が、一酸化炭素、求核トラッピング剤及び、少なくとも一つの炭素−炭素二重 結合を有するポリマー鎖を含有する炭化水素ポリマーの反応で作られた、コッホ (Koch)反応で官能化されたポリマーを含有する、請求項3にかかる付加物。 6. 第一のアミン含有ポリマーが、炭化水素ポリマーのハロゲン化 によって作られたハロゲン化ポリマーと、少なくとも一つの一級アミノ基を含有 するアミン化合物との反応で作られた、少なくとも一つの反応性アミノ基を有す るアミンで置換されたポリマーを含有する、請求項2にかかる付加物。 7. 第一のアミン含有ポリマーが、下記(i)及び(ii)からな る群から選ばれる少なくとも一種を含有する、請求項2にかかる付加物: (i) ヒドロキシアロマチック化合物のアルキル化によって作られた 少なくとも一つのアルキル置換ヒドロキシアロマチック化合物と、炭化水素ポリ マー、アルデヒド反応体及び一級アミノ基、二級アミノ基及びそれらの混合物か らなる群から選ばれる少なくとも二つの反応性アミノ基を有するアミン化合物と の反応生成物、及び (ii) 炭化水素ポリマーで置換されたモノ−又はジカルボン酸生成物 質を、アミンで置換されたヒドロキシアロマチック化合物と反応させ、炭化水素 ポリマーで置換されたアミド又はイミドを含有するヒドロキシアロマチック中間 体を作り、その中間体を、アルデヒド及び一級アミノ基、二級アミノ基及びそれ らの混合物からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも二つの反応性アミノ基を有するア ミンと縮合させて作られた反応生成物。 8. 炭化水素ポリマーが、α−オレフィンホモポリマー類、α−オ レフィンコポリマー類、エチレン−α−オレフィンコポリマー類及びそれらの混 合物からなる群から選ばれる、請求項2にかかる付加物。 9. 炭化水素ポリマーが、エチレンと、式:H2C=CHR′(式 中、R′は、1〜26個の炭素原子を含む直鎖又は分岐鎖のアルキルラジカルで ある)を有するC3〜C28のα−オレフィン類のうちの少なくとも一種から誘導 されたエチレン−α−オレフィンコポリマーを含有し、そのエチレン−α−オレ フィンコポリマーは、エチレン含有量が約20〜80モル%であり、且つ、ポリ マー鎖の少なくとも約30%は、末端にエテニリデン不飽和部を有する、請求項 8にかかる付加物。 10. 炭化水素ポリマーがポリイソブチレンを含有する、請求項2に かかる付加物。 11. (A) 硼酸エステル化剤で、下記(i)及び(ii)からな る群から選ばれる少なくとも一種を含有するアミン含有ポリマー物質(そのアミ ン含有ポリマー物質は、その構造中に、一級アミノ基、二級アミノ基及びそれら の混合物からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも二つの反応性アミノ基を有する)を 処理すること: (i) 数平均分子量が約300〜20,000の炭化水素ポ リマーから誘導された第一のアミン含有ポリマー、及び (ii)有機金属化合物でマスクされた窒素を含有するモノマ ーと、エチレン、C3〜C25のα−オレフィン類及びそれらの混合物からなる群 から選ばれるポリマー鎖モノマーとを重合し、その後、脱灰分処理(deashing)を 行って有機金属化合物を除去するというプロセスによって作られた、炭素−炭素 主鎖を有する第二のアミン含有ポリマー、 及び (B) 処理工程(A)の前、その間又はその後に、キノン化 合物を反応性アミノ基の少なくとも一部と反応させて硼酸エステル化された付加 物(その硼酸エステル化された付加物は、少なくとも約0.01重量%の硼素を 含有する)を得るのに十分な量で且つそれに十分な条件下に、アミン含有ポリマ ー物質をキノン化合物と接触させること によって調製された反応生成物を含有する、燃料添加剤又は潤滑油添加剤として 有用な油溶性硼酸エステル化付加物。 12. キノン化合物が1,4−ベンゾキノン及び1,4−ナフトキノ ンからなる群から選ばれる、請求項1にかかる付加物。 13. 請求項1の付加物を約0.01〜20重量%含有する潤滑油組 成物。 14. 請求項1の付加物を約20〜60重量%含有する潤滑油濃縮物 。 15. 請求項1の付加物を約0.001〜0.5重量%含有する燃料 組成物。 16. キノン化合物が1,4−ベンゾキノン及び1,4−ナフトキノ ンからなる群から選ばれる、請求項11にかかる付加物。 17. 請求項11の付加物を約0.01〜20重量%含有する潤滑油 組成物。 18. 請求項11の付加物を約20〜60重量%含有する潤滑油濃縮 物。 19. 請求項11の付加物を約0.001〜0.5重量%含有する燃 料組成物。 20. 少なくとも一つのキノン化合物を提供する工程、 (i) 数平均分子量が約300〜20,000の炭化水素ポ リマーから誘導された第一のアミン含有ポリマー、及び (ii)有機金属化合物でマスクされた窒素を含有するモノマ ーと、エチレン、C3〜C25のα−オレフィン類及びそれらの混合物からなる 群から選ばれるポリマー鎖モノマーとを重合し、その後、脱灰分処理(deashing) を行って有機金属化合物を除去するというプロセスによって作られた、炭素−炭 素主鎖を有する第二のアミン含有ポリマー からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種を含有するアミン含有ポリマー物質(そ のアミン含有ポリマー物質は、その構造中に、一級アミノ基、二級アミノ基及び それらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一つの反応性アミノ基を有す る)を提供する工程、及び キノン化合物が反応性アミノ基の少なくとも一部と反応し、キ ノン化合物とアミン含有ポリマー物質の油溶性付加物を含有する生成物混合物を 生ずるのに十分な条件下で且つそれに十分な時間、キノン化合物をアミン含有ポ リマー物質と接触させる工程 を含む、燃料添加剤又は潤滑油添加剤として有用な組成物の製造方法。
