Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.a)放電時に電気化学的に酸化可能で電池内で金属イオンを形成して電池 に接続された外部電気回路に電子流を発生させるアルカリ金属からなるアノード と、 b)カソード活物質からなり、アルカリ金属アノードの酸化によって形成され た金属イオンのカソード活物質内への挿入ないし内位添加(インターカレーショ ン:intercalation)によって電子流が発生されるカソードと、 c)アノードとカソードに作用的に関連配備された非水電解質溶液と、 からなる電気化学電池において、 該電池が電流パルス条件下で放電させられるようなときに、電圧遅延を除くの に十分な酸化炭素を電解質溶液に溶解させてなる改良。 2.酸化炭素が二酸化炭素である請求項1の電気化学電池。 3.電解質溶液が二酸化炭素で飽和されている請求項1の電気化学電池。 4.電解質溶液が約0.2重量%の二酸化炭素を含む請求項1の電気化学電池 。 5.電解質溶液が溶解されたアルカリ金属塩を含む請求項1の電気化学電池。 6.アルカリ金属塩が一般式MM’F6を有し、Mがアノードをなすアルカリ 金属と類似のアルカリ金属であり、M’がリン、ヒ素およびアンチモンからなる 群から選ばれた元素である請求項5の電気化学電池。 7.電解質溶液を構成するアルカリ金属塩がLiPF6、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiBF4、 LiClO4、LiC(SO2CF3)3、LiN(SO2CF3)2およびLiCF3SO3、並びにこれらの混合物か らなる群から選ばれる請求項5の電気化学電池。 8.電解質溶液がエステル、エーテル、炭酸ジアルキルおよびこれらの混合物 からなる群から選ばれた低粘度溶媒と、環状炭酸塩、環状エステル、環状アミド およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれた高誘電率溶媒とからなる請求項1 の電気化学電池。 9.低粘度溶媒が1,2−ジメトキシエタン、炭酸ジメチル、酢酸メチル、テ トラヒドロフラン、ジグリム、トリグリムおよびテトラグリム、並びにこれらの 混合物からなる群から選ばれる請求項8の電気化学電池。 10.高誘電率溶媒が炭酸プロピレン、炭酸エチレン、γ−ブチロクラクトン 、N−メチル−ピロリジノン、ジメチルスルホキシド、アセトニトリル、ジメチ ルホルムアミドおよびジメチルアセトアミド、並びにこれらの混合物からなる群 から選ばれる請求項8の電気化学電池。 11.非水電解質溶液が炭酸プロピレンとジメトキシエタンからなる有機溶媒 を含む請求項1の電気化学電池。 12.炭酸プロピレンとジメトキシエタンが約1:1の体積比で存在する請求 項1の電気化学電池。 13.アノードがリチウムからなる請求項1の電気化学電池。 14.アノードがリチウムまたはリチウム−アルミニウム合金のいずれかから なる請求項1の電気化学電池。 15.アルミニウムが合金の約50重量%までの量である請求項14の電気化 学電池。 16.アノードがリチウムからなり、電解質を構成するアルカリ金属塩がヘキ サフルオロヒ酸リチウムである請求項5の電気化学電池。 17.カソードが酸化バナジウム銀、酸化バナジウム銀銅、二酸化マンガン、 酸化コバルト、酸化ニッケル、炭素、フッ化炭素、二硫化チタンおよび酸化バナ ジウム銅、並びにこれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれたカソード活物質からな る請求項1の電気化学電池。 18.カソードが約80重量%から約99重量%のカソード活物質からなる請 求項1の電気化学電池。 19.カソードが、さらに、結合物質と導電性添加物質とからなる請求項1の 電気化学電池。 20.結合物質がフッ素樹脂粉である請求項19の電気化学電池。 21.導電性添加物質が炭素、グラファイト粉、アセチレンブラックおよびこ れらの組合わせからなる群から選ばれる請求項19の電気化学電池。 22.カソードが約0から3重量%の炭素と、約1から5重量%の粉末フッ素 樹脂と、約94重量%のカソード活物質とからなる請求項1の電気化学電池。 23.a)アルカリ金属からなるアノードを用意し、 b)電子伝導性物質の固体カソードを用意し、 c)アノードとカソードに作用的に関連配備した非水電解質溶液で該電池を活 性化し、 d)該電池を電流パルス条件下で放電させる間電圧遅延を除くのに十分な量の 酸化炭素を電解質溶液中に溶解させることからなる非水電解質で活性化された電 気化学電池において電圧遅延を減少させる方法。 24.電解質溶液を酸化炭素で飽和させることを含む請求項23の方法。 25.酸化炭素を二酸化炭素として用意することを含む請求項23の方法。 26.電解質溶液に約0.2重量%の二酸化炭素を溶解させることを含む請求 項25の方法。 27.アルカリ金属塩が溶解された電解質溶液を用意することを含む請求項2 3の方法。 28.一般式MM’F6を有し、Mがアノードをなすアルカリ金属に類似のア ルカリ金属であり、M’がリン、ヒ素およびアンチモンからなる群から選ばれた 元素であるアルカリ金属塩を用意することを含む請求項27の方法。 29.電解質を構成するアルカリ金属塩をLiPF6、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiBF4、Li ClO4、LiC(SO2CF3)3、LiN(SO2CF3)2およびLiCF3SO3、並びにこれらの混合物から なる群から選定することを含む請求項27の方法。 30.エステル、エーテル、炭酸ジアルキルおよびこれらの混合物からなる群 から選ばれた低粘度溶媒からなる非水電解質溶液を用意すること、および、さら に、環状炭酸塩、環状エステル、環状アミドおよびこれらの混合物からなる群か ら選ばれた高誘電率溶媒からなる非水電解質溶液を用意することを含む請求項2 3の方法。 31.1,2−ジメトキシエタン、炭酸ジメチル、酢酸メチル、テトラヒドロ フラン、ジグリム、トリグリムおよびテトラグリム、並びにこれらの混合物から なる群から低粘度溶媒を選ぶことを含む請求項30の方法。 32.炭酸プロピレン、炭酸エチレン、γ−ブチロラクトン、N−メチル−ピ ロリジノン、ジメチルスルホキシド、アセトニトリル、ジメチルホルムアミドお よびジメチルアセトアミド、並びにこれらの混合物からなる群から高誘電率溶媒 を選ぶことを含む請求項30の方法。 33.炭酸プロピレンとジメトキシエタンからなる有機溶媒を含む非水電解質 溶液を用意することを含む請求項23の方法。 34.炭酸プロピレンとジメトキシエタンを1:1の体積比で用意することを 含む請求項33の方法。 35.アノードをリチウムとして用意することを含む請求項23の方法。 36.リチウムまたはリチウム−アルミニウム合金のいずれかからなるアノー ドを用意することを含む請求項23の方法。 37.アノード合金の約50重量%までの量を構成するアルミニウムを用意す ることを含む請求項36の方法。 38.リチウムからなるアノードと、電解質を構成するアルカリ金属塩として ヘキサフルオロヒ酸リチウムを用意することを含む請求項27の方法。 39.酸化バナジウム銀、酸化バナジウム銀銅、二酸化マンガン、酸化コバル ト、酸化ニッケル、炭素、フッ化炭素、二硫化チタンおよび酸化バナジウム銅、 並びにこれらの混合物からなる群からカソードを選ぶことを含む請求項23の方 法。 40.約80重量%から約99重量%のカソード活物質からなるカソードを用 意することを含む請求項23の方法。 41.結合物質と導電性添加物質を含むカソードを用意することを含む請求項 23の方法。 42.約0から3重量%の炭素と、約1から5重量%の粉末フッ素樹脂と、約 94重量%のカソード活物質とからなるカソードを用意することを含む請求項2 3の方法。
