Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも2つの周波数帯域を有し、ベースステーションと、いずれかの周 波数帯域の周波数でベースステーションと通信することのできる移動ステーショ ンとを備えたセルラー移動電話システムであって、移動ステーションが測定しな ければならない周波数に関する情報をネットワークが移動ステーションへ送信し 、そして種々の周波数の多数の測定結果を含む測定レポートを移動ステーション がネットワークへ送信するようなセルラー移動電話システムにおいて 上記ネットワークは、現在動作帯域の外側の少なくとも1つの帯域に対して 、移動ステーションがその測定レポートにおいて通知すべき周波数測定結果の最 少数を指示する数データを移動ステーションに知らせることを特徴とするセルラ ー移動電話システム。 2.上記数データは、その数データに与えられた現在動作帯域の外側の上記少な くとも1つの帯域からの周波数の厳密な数を含むべきであることを通知する請求 項1に記載のシステム。 3.現在動作帯域の外側の上記少なくとも1つの帯域からの最高の可聴性をもつ 周波数について上記数データに与えられた多数の測定結果が上記測定レポートに 入れられ、そして 現在動作帯域の最高の可聴性をもつ周波数についての測定結果が上記測定レ ポートの残りのスペースに入れられる請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。 4.現在動作帯域の測定結果が上記残りのスペースより少ない場合には、現在動 作帯域の外側の帯域周波数に対する更に多くの測定結果が上記残りのスペースに 入れられる請求項3に記載のシステム。 5.上記数データは変更できる請求項1に記載のシステム。 6.上記数データは、周波数のリストと同じメッセージに与えられる請求項1又 は2に記載のシステム。 7.上記数データは、分離されたメッセージで与えられる請求項1又は2に記載 のシステム。 8.接続中に、上記ネットワークは、数データが変更されたメッセージを送信す る請求項5に記載のシステム。 9.上記システムは、時分割多重アクセス(TDMA)移動電話システムである 請求項の前記いずれかに記載のシステム。 10.GSM及びDCSの両方の周波数帯域が移動電話システムに使用される請求 項9に記載のシステム。 11.上記数データは、ネットワークによい送信されるシステム情報メッセージ( System_Info)の1つに含まれる請求項10に記載のシステム。 12.上記数データを含むメッセージは、接続に関連した専用の制御チャンネルを 経て送信される請求項9に記載のシステム。
