Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase productivity of electronic component taping equipment for taping an electronic component after assembly and test by storing at once in a carrier tape a plurality of the electronic components without a missing electronic component. SOLUTION: An adjusting pallet 9 comprises a plurality of adjusting parts 9A-9D moving independently. When electronic components 4 are carried in a state in which an electronic component is missing, the adjusting part 9A, which is a part of the adjusting pallet 9, is avoided to the outside of the normal position area and the remaining adjusting parts 9B-9D deliver the electronic components 4. By this, a plurality of electronic components 4 can be stored in a carrier tape 11 at once without a missing electronic component and this productivity can be greatly improved.

[0004] The normal operation of the taping device for electronic components is as follows. As shown in FIG. 5, the rotary table 23 is rotated by a predetermined angle, and the electronic components 20A and 20B are transferred to the transfer position of the transfer unit 24. And the carrier tape 21 is intermittently fed by a pitch distance corresponding to two of the storage holes 22, and the empty storage holes 22A and 22B for storing the electronic components 20A and 20B are referred to the storage positions. The transported electronic components 20A and 20B are sucked and moved by the suction nozzles 25A and 25B of the transfer unit 24, and are stored in the empty storage holes 22A and 22B.

Next, as shown in FIG. 7, when the electronic component 20A to be stored is located only in front of the transport direction,
Similarly, this information is transmitted to the transfer unit 24 and the carrier tape supply unit (not shown) in advance, and the carrier tape 2
1 intermittently feeds the same pitch distance of two storage holes 22 as in the normal state, and prepares an empty storage hole 22A for storing the electronic component 20A at a storage position corresponding to the suction nozzle 25A, Only the suction nozzle 25A of the transfer unit 24 suctions and stores the electronic component 20A.

When two electronic components 20 are conveyed next and there are no missing portions, the carrier tape 21 is intermittently fed by a pitch distance corresponding to one storage hole 22 to operate in a normal state. Returning, as described above, when there is only one rear, the intermittent feeding of the carrier tape 21 is not performed because the empty storage hole 22B is already prepared at the storage position corresponding to the suction nozzle 25B. Instead, the transported rear only electronic component 20 is stored via the suction nozzle 25B, and then returns to the normal operation.

However, in such a conventional taping device for electronic parts, even if three or more electronic parts 20 are conveyed at a time and are to be stored in the carrier tape 21 at the same time, the electronic part in the intermediate part thereof is required. When the component 20 is defective in the previous process and is in a toothless state, the electronic component 20 cannot be housed without a toothless portion only by controlling the feeding operation of the carrier tape 21. Only transportation and storage were possible, and the productivity was poor.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a taping device for electronic parts according to the present invention is configured to hold a plurality of electronic parts and to be able to move independently in the alignment direction. When an adjustment pallet is provided and electronic components are conveyed with missing parts, the adjustment pallets corresponding to the shortage are avoided outside the reference position range, and the electronic pallets are removed from the remaining portion of the adjustment pallet. At the same time as the delivery of the parts, the pitch is adjusted to the pitch of the storage part of the electronic parts provided on the carrier tape.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, a plurality of inspected electronic components which are sequentially conveyed are suctioned in units of at least three or more, and only good products are transferred to a first pallet. And a plurality of electronic components which are independently provided in accordance with the number of electronic components to be transferred to the component supply unit and which are transferred from the first pallet via the first transfer unit. In addition to holding the electronic components of each of the above, if the number of pieces to be transferred is less than the predetermined number due to missing teeth due to defective products or the like, the quantity corresponding to this shortage is avoided outside the reference position range. A plurality of adjustment pallets individually and movably arranged in the alignment direction so that only the transferred electronic components can be aligned within the reference position range; and Multiple electronic components aligned A second transfer unit that transfers and stores the electronic component to a storage unit provided on a carrier tape supplied from a tape supply unit; and winds up after attaching a cover tape to the carrier tape that stores the electronic component. This is a configuration including a winding section, and has an effect that three or more electronic components at a time can be housed in a carrier tape without missing portions.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect of the invention, when the pitch of the electronic components supplied to the component supply section is different from the pitch of the storage section of the electronic components provided on the carrier tape. Moving the adjustment pallet in the alignment direction so as to match the pitch of the electronic components supplied to the adjustment pallet with the pitch of the accommodating portion of the carrier tape. This has the effect of easily coping with a case where the component supply pitch and the carrier tape storage hole pitch are different.

When only three of A, 4B, and 4D are conveyed and the middle portion is a missing portion 4C, this information enters the control unit of the adjustment pallet 9 and the carrier tape supply unit 10 as in the related art. As shown in FIG. 8B, the adjustment unit 9A moves out of the reference position range, and the adjustment units 9B and 9C
A and 4B are moved to the receiving positions, and the adjusting units 9B and
9C and 9D receive the electronic components 4A, 4B and 4D without missing portions, and thereafter, as shown in FIG.
B to 9D move in the alignment direction so as to have the same pitch as the storage holes 12 of the carrier tape 11, and the electronic components 4A, 4A
B and 4D are accommodated in accommodation holes 12 continuously provided at a constant pitch in the carrier tape 11, and thereafter the carrier tape supply unit 10 supplies three pitches of the accommodated electronic components 4A, 4B and 4D. Carrier tape 1 for minutes

In this embodiment, the number of electronic components 4 handled at one time has been described as four. However, the present invention is not limited to this. It is needless to say that by configuring each part according to the number of pieces, six pieces,..., N pieces, a taping device for electronic parts with higher productivity can be realized.
The configuration for independently moving each of the adjustment units 9A to 9D is not limited to the configuration using the servo motor 15, the screw shaft 16, and the nut 17.

As described above, according to the present invention, three or more electronic components can be simultaneously accommodated in the accommodating hole of the carrier tape without any missing portions, thereby greatly improving the productivity. In addition, since it is possible to easily cope with the case where the pitch of the storage holes of the carrier tape and the pitch of the electronic components are different, it is possible to smoothly transfer the electronic components between the equipments, and to assemble the connected components. It is also possible to speed up equipment and inspection equipment, etc.
It has a great effect in practical use.
