(57)【要約】 【課題】 処理されたＡＰＳフィルムからデジタル画像
を発生させる低コスト、簡単で携帯可能な両目的カメラ
を提供する。 【解決手段】 それはシーンに対してカメラ内に装填さ
れた未露光のフィルムを露光し、それにより該フィルム
内に潜像を形成する光学的露光システムと；カメラ内に
装填された露光されたフィルム上の現像された画像から
電子画像を形成する電子画像捕捉システムとからなる。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は写真システムに関
し、より詳細には未露光のフィルム上に画像を捕捉し、
露光されたフィルム上の現像された画像から電子画像を
形成することが可能な両目的カメラに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】現在写真市場に導入されているアドバン
ストフォトシステム（ＡＰＳ）は画像を撮影する革命的
な方法である。アドバンストフォトシステムの一つの主
な特徴は処理されたフィルムが元のカセット内に入って
顧客に戻されることである。この特徴はフィルムをハロ
ゲン化銀画像を電子的にスキャンし、デジタル画像を出
力する装置に簡単に装填することを可能にした。
【０００３】アドバンストフォトシステムの一般公開の
時に家庭での消費者用の目的のデジタルスキャン装置は
２つしか公開されていなかった。これらは両方とも富士
フィルム社により製造されている。その一つはアナログ
テレビジョン上に出力を提供し、他方はパーソナルコン
ピュータにデジタル画像ファイルを提供する。これらの
両方は単独の周辺機器である。そのいずれもがパンの箱
ぐらいの大きさであり、それぞれが５００ドルを越える
小売価格である。
【０００４】顧客が処理されたＡＰＳフィルムからデジ
タル画像を発生させる簡単で携帯可能な手段へのニーズ
が存在する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の目的はこれら
のニーズを満たすことにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明の特徴によればシ
ーンに対してカメラに装填された未露光のフィルムを露
光し、それにより該フィルムに潜像を形成する光学的露
光システムと；カメラ内に装填された露光されたフィル
ム上の現像された画像から電子画像を形成する電子画像
捕捉システムとからなる両目的カメラが提供される。

【発明の実施の形態】２つの実施例がカメラ内でのフィ
ルムスキャンを可能にするために説明される。第一の実
施例はラインスキャナーを用い、フィルムを該ラインス
キャナーを通過するよう均一に進め、又は均一な速度で
通過させるよう搬送し、一度に一ライン画像を読み取
る。第二の実施例は二次元配列スキャナーを用いフィル
ムを動かさずに全体の画像を読み取る。
【０００８】図１は本発明の第一実施例のカメラ１０の
断面図を示す。カメラ本体１１はＡＰＳカートリッジ１
２を保持する。写真フィルム１３は背面要素２０にわた
り平坦に置かれるよう該カートリッジから巻取りスプー
ル１４へ引き出される。ラインスキャン素子２２はフィ
ルム片の幅にわたり、従来技術で知られているようにフ
ィルムがラインスキャナーを用いる標準的な方法で一の
フレームの長さにわたり進められるときにデジタル画像
に読み取られるよう用いられる。光源アクセサリー３０
はカメラの対物レンズ要素１６に機械的に取り付けられ
る。電源及びデータラインはカメラ１０及び光源アクセ
サリー３０の組立体ユニットからパーソナルコンピュー
タへインターフェイスケーブル４２により接続される。
光源３０は筐体３２、レンズ要素３４、リニア光要素２
６、開口３８からなる。該レンズ及び光要素はリニアス
キャン要素２２上のフィルム上にリニア細片状の照明を
提供する。
【０００９】図２はスキャン能力を有するハイブリッド
確認型（ｖｅｒｉｆｉｅｒ）カメラである本発明の第二
の実施例の断面図を示す。示されている光学系は非常に
簡単であるが、本発明の特徴を示している。カメラ本体
５２を有するカメラ５０の通常の動作では７１、７２、
７３のような光線はレンズ５４で屈折され、鏡要素５６
により反射され、画像を電子的に読み取るＣＣＤ素子５
８上に合焦される。デジタル画像はＬＣＤスクリーン６
０上に表示され、これは写真のフレーミング用の観察表
示器として設けられる。カメラシャッター５７が押され
たときに鏡要素５６は光が感応性のフィルム要素６２上
に到達して潜像を形成するよう跳ね上げられる。シャッ
ターボタンが押された丁度その時に撮影されたデジタル
画像は吟味され、故に撮影されたハロゲン化銀潜像が写
真撮影者が意図したものであることが「確認」される。
【００１０】図３はスキャンニングモードで動作するハ
イブリッドカメラを示す。鏡要素５６は９０゜回転さ
れ、平坦な光源６４は処理されたフィルム要素６３の画
像がＣＣＤ５８上に合焦するよう照明される。このデジ
タル画像はＬＣＤスクリーン６０上に表示され、又はテ
レビジョン又はコンピュータに出力される。本発明は好
ましい実施例を特に参照して詳細に説明されてきたが、
変更及び改良は本発明の精神及び範囲内で有効である。

【発明の効果】本発明は以下の利点を有する。 １．ＡＰＳネガフィルムからデジタル画像を得るために
別の周辺機器を必要としない。 ２．カメラは携帯可能であり、処理された画像をどこで
でもスキャンし、表示できる。
【００１２】３．ハイブリッドユニット用の製造コスト
はフィルム搬送の手段、光学系、等々が単一ユニット内
にある故に別々のカメラ及び周辺のスキャナーよりも少
ない。 ４．消費者により低いコストでより価値の高いものを提
供する。

Claims (2)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】シーンに対してカメラ内に装填された未露
    光のフィルムを露光し、それにより該フィルムに潜像を
    形成する光学的露光システムと；カメラ内に装填された
    露光されたフィルム上の現像された画像から電子画像を
    形成する電子画像捕捉システムとからなる両目的カメ
    ラ。
  2. 【請求項２】筐体と；該筐体に設けられた画像化レンズ
    と；該レンズから離間して該筐体内に配置されたフィル
    ムゲートと；該フィルムゲートの後ろに設けられた平坦
    な光源と；該筐体内に設けられた電子画像捕捉システム
    と；該レンズ、と該フィルムゲートと、該電子捕捉シス
    テムとに関して配置された鏡システムとからなり、未露
    光フィルムが該カメラ内に装填されたときは該鏡システ
    ムはレンズにより該フィルム面に位置する未露光フィル
    ム上に投影されたシーンの光画像を該電子画像捕捉シス
    テムへ向けてシーンの電子画像を形成させ、露光された
    フィルムが該カメラ内に装填されたときは該鏡システム
    は、該フィルムゲートに配置されている露出されたフィ
    ルム上の現像された画像を通して光を投射するよう該平
    坦な光源を動作させることにより形成された光画像を該
    電子画像捕捉システムへ向けて該現像された画像の電子
    画像を形成させるように構成されたカメラ。
