Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 玄武岩を融解帯域に供給する段階と、前記帯域内の前記玄武岩を融点まで 加熱してその融解物を得る段階と、前記融解物を得られた融解物の凝固点を超え る値に維持された温度で均質化帯域に供給する段階と、前記融解物から連続繊維 を引張する段階とを含んでなる玄武岩繊維の製造法であって、1,500〜1,600 ℃ の温度で玄武岩を加熱する段階を実施すること、および繊維形成帯域での融解物 の粘度を100ポアズより高くして3,500 m/分を超える速度で繊維の引張を実施 することを特徴とする玄武岩繊維の製造法。
