エステルを含む脱臭剤を紙、厚紙、不織布等に含浸して
脱臭に量する。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明が属する技術分野】本発明はウンデシレン(undec
ylenic acid)酸またはウンデシレン酸の塩またはエステ
ルを含む脱臭剤の紙、厚紙および不織布の脱臭での使用
に関するものである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】望ましくない臭いを無くすことができる
ウンデシレン酸エステルを主成分とする化学組成は脱臭
分野では既に周知である。ドイツ国特許第DE-A-2,263,5
09号は、人間の体臭の原因である微生物の発生を防ぐた
めにウンデシレン酸の（Ｃ1-Ｃ4 ）アルキルエステルを
含む複雑な化学組成の脱臭を提案している。ドイツ国特
許第DE-A-1,792,467号には、作物を荒らす野生の鳥類・
猟類を追い払うためのウンデシレン酸を主成分とした化
学組成が記載されており、これは、必要に応じてメチル
ウンデシレン酸塩等の不飽和脂肪酸と組み合わせて用い
られる。
【０００３】精製プラントのスラッジ、液肥、動物飼料
および製紙産業の排液の脱臭用にウンデシレン酸エステ
ルを主成分とする化学組成物の使用も公知である（フラ
ンス特許第2,655,856 、第2,655,857 、第2,655,819 お
よび第2,694,197 参照）。
【０００４】セルロースからなる支持体では、著しく特
殊な臭いを有するためや、不快な臭いのする物質と接触
するために脱臭する必要の場合が大い。この意味での脱
臭の必要性は印刷前または後に厚紙および紙を包装する
場合にその本来の臭いが不快な臭いであることから明ら
かである。同じ必要性は、脱臭剤の支持体として紙また
は不織布を用いることが望まれる場合、特に気体の濾過
（空調、産業環境）、液体または粒子の濾過（真空掃除
器袋）、人糞（おむつ）や動物の糞（わら）の回収、閉
じた大気（空気清浄噴散器）の支持体の場合に見られ
る。
【０００５】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明者はウンデシレ
ン酸またはウンデシレン酸の塩またはエステルを主成分
とする化学組成が紙、厚紙または不織布の脱臭に有効で
あることを見出した。
【０００６】
【課題を解決するための手段】本発明の対象は、ウンデ
シレン酸またはウンデシレン酸の塩、アルキルエステル
またはポリオキシアルキレンエステルからなる脱臭剤の
紙、厚紙または不織布の脱臭での使用にある。
【０００７】
【発明の実施の形態】上記化合物の中では、本発明は特
に、金属塩と、炭素数１〜12のアルキルエステルと、ウ
ンデシレン酸のポリオキシエチレン、ポリオキシプロピ
レンおよびポリ（オキシエチレン)(オキシプロピレン）
エステルとが特に好ましく、特に、ウンデシレン酸のN
a、Zn、CaおよびCu塩、メチル、エチル、プロピル、ヘ
キシルおよびデシルエステル、オキシアルキレンを２〜
20単位含むポリオキシアルキレンエステルに関するもの
である。本発明で用いる吸収物質は上記化合物の１種ま
たはその混合物で構成することができる。従って、上記
化合物の１種または複数を溶液、懸濁液またはエマルジ
ョンの形または支持体、特に粘土、沸石またはケイ藻土
等の固体支持体に吸収された形で用いることができる。
ウンデシレン酸およびウンデシレン酸の塩またはエステ
ルは被処理支持体に対して一般に低含有量、例えば約0.
05〜10重量％、好ましくは0.05〜３重量％で有効であ
る。
【０００８】ウンデシレン酸またはウンデシレン酸の塩
またはエステルと、他の添加剤、特に機械特性、表面外
観、耐脂肪性、耐水透過性および表面状態を向上させる
ための添加材との化学組成にすることも当然可能であ
る。一般に、これら成分を含む化学組成は、紙、厚紙お
よび不織布等のセルロース繊維からなる支持体上で使用
され、特に、特殊紙の脱臭に用いるのが望ましい。特殊
紙の例としては煙草の紙、濾過紙（コーヒー、掃除器や
産業用掃除機）、濃縮(condenser) 紙、紙巻き煙草用
紙、パーチメントペーパーまたは油を通さない紙、画用
紙、壁紙、シリコン被覆紙または自己接着性用紙、証券
用紙、地理用紙、吸い取り紙、研磨用紙、自動コピー用
紙、拭き取り用紙、医療用の紙および金属部品または動
物飼料の包装紙が挙げられる。以下、本発明の実施例を
説明する。
【０００９】
【実施例】実施例１ オフセット印刷用の被覆されていない紙 (Ｇ．Ｓ．Ｍ 7
0g/m2)を下記化学組成（重量％）から従来法で製造し
た： 漂白軟材のクラフトパルプ（ＫＢＲ） 30 漂白硬材クラフトパルプ（ＫＢＦ） 70 CaCO3 15（繊維に対して） ＡＫＤ １ カチオン性のスターチ 0.4 （組成に対して） ＰＡＡ 200 ｇ／ｔ紙 メチルウンデシレネート 0.01〜２
【００１０】サイズプレスを用いて紙の両面に酸化スタ
ーチを塗布した（３g/m2/ 辺）。この紙にオフセットイ
ンク（タック度５；ロリユー(Lorieux))を用いて印刷し
た。印刷された紙の検出可能な臭いの範囲を０〜６級の
範囲で６人ので評価した。０〜６の値は、０が無臭で、
６はインク本来の臭いがあることを示す。メチルウンデ
シレネートを全く含まない対照紙と比較した場合の結果
を下記の表に示す。
【００１１】実施例２ 10重量％のメチルウンデシレネート（マスコッド（Masc
od）MNS 01-10;EC11）を含む水溶性エマルジョンをノン
コート紙（70m2/g）上にサイズプレスを用いて塗布し
た。この紙にオフセットインク（粘着度５；ロリユー
（Lorieux)) を用いて印刷した。印刷された紙の検出可
能な臭いの範囲を実施例１の条件下でメチルウンデシレ
ン酸を全く含まない対照紙と比較して評価した。
【００１２】実施例３ 化学漂白パルプ（Ｇ．Ｓ．Ｍ．80g/m2）で動物の乾燥飼
料（小粒）包装紙を製造し、アルキルケテン二量体（Co
bb 60 ＝18g/m2）を用いた中性媒体で接着加工した。得
られた紙をフォラペルル 321（エルフアトケム（Elf At
ochem)社) で処理して脂肪不透過性にした。次いで、10
重量％のメチルウンデシレネート（マスコッド（Masco
d）MNS 01-10;EC11）と、0.2 重量％のカルボキシメチ
ルセルロースとを含む水溶性エマルジョンをサイズプレ
スで含浸させた。得られた紙は３g/m2のメチルウンデシ
レネートを含む。
【００１３】この紙を用いて100gの乾燥飼料（小粒）を
包装し、次いで、包装袋を50℃のオーブンの中に置いた
ビンの中に24時間放置した。このビンを開けた時に臭い
は全く検出されなかったが、メチルウンデシレネートを
含まない同じ紙で包装した小粒を含む対照のビンは極め
て強烈な飼料の臭いがした。この処理紙で包装した乾燥
飼料（小粒）は動物に完全に受け入れられた。
【００１４】実施例４ 50重量％の化学パルプと50重量％のポリプロピレン繊維
との組成を有する繊維からなる不織布の織物（60g/m2）
を製造した。この織物に10重量％のメチルウンデシレネ
ート（マスコッド(Mascod) MNS 01-10;EC11)と 0.1重量
％のカルボキシメチルセルロースとを含む水溶性エマル
ジョンをサイズプレスで含浸した。含浸した織物は１g/
m2のメチルウンデシレムートを含む。この織物を使用者
６人のウォーキングシューズの中へ入れた。使用10日後
に臭いは全く検出されなかった。

Claims (7)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 ウンデシレン酸またはウンデシレン酸の
    塩、アルキルエステルまたはポリオキシアルキレンエス
    テルからなる脱臭剤の紙、厚紙または不織布の脱臭での
    使用。
  2. 【請求項２】 塩が金属塩である請求項１に記載の使
    用。
  3. 【請求項３】 塩がウンデシレン酸のNa、Ｋ、Zn、Caま
    たはCu塩である請求項２に記載の使用。
  4. 【請求項４】 エステルがウンデシレン酸の炭素数１〜
    12のアルキルエステルおよびウンデシレン酸のポリオキ
    シエチレン、ポリオキシプロピレンおよびポリ（オキシ
    エチレン)(オキシプロピレン）エステルの中から選択さ
    れる請求項１に記載の使用。
  5. 【請求項５】 請求項１〜４のいずれか一項に記載の脱
    臭剤を含む紙。
  6. 【請求項６】 請求項１〜４のいずれか一項に記載の脱
    臭剤を含む厚紙。
  7. 【請求項７】 請求項１〜４のいずれか一項に記載の脱
    臭剤を含む不織布。
