【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明が関係する技術分野は外科
用道具でありそして、さらに詳しくは、縫合糸材料を骨
に定着するための縫合糸アンカーである。
【０００２】
【従来技術及びその課題】関節および柔らかい組織の処
置は整形医学分野において進歩したので、腱、靭帯およ
び他の柔らかい組織を骨に取り付けるために使用するこ
とができる医学的装置が必要であった。傷つけられた関
節を外科的に修復するとき、損傷した柔らかい組織を人
工材料と置換するよりむしろそれらを再び取り付けるこ
とによって修復することは好ましい。このような修復は
典型的には柔らかい組織、例えば、靭帯および腱を骨に
取り付けことを必要とする。
【０００３】柔らかい組織を包含する関節への損傷の発
生率の増加が観察されてきている。この発生率の増加
は、少なくとも一部分、種々の身体的活動、例えば、ス
ポーツおよび他のレクレーションの活動における公衆の
参加の増加のためでであることがある。これらの種類の
活動は関節に加わる負荷およびストレスを増加し、時に

る問題のいくつかを克服するために、縫合糸アンカーが
開発され、そして柔らかい組織を骨に取り付けるために
しばしば使用される。縫合糸アンカーは、典型的には骨
の中に開けられたキャビティの中に移植される、整形の
医学的装置である。それほど頻繁ではないが、これらの

【課題を解決するための手段】したがって、本発明は、

【実施例】図１を参照すると、本発明の縫合糸アンカー
の第１の態様が示されている。アンカーはアンカー本体

る非吸収性材料の例は、金属の生物適合性材料、例え
ば、ステンレス鋼、ニチノル（Ｎｉｔｉｎｏｌ）、チタ

材料、例えば、非吸収性ポリエステル、ポリアミド、ポ
リオレフィン、ポリウレタン、およびポリアセタールお
よびそれらの同等の材料を包含し、金属の物質を使用す
るとき、より柔らかい金属が好ましい。
【００２６】本発明の縫合糸アンカー装置は、吸収性材
料から作るとき、普通の射出成形装置および普通の射出
成形法を使用する成形により製作することが好ましい。
典型的な成形方法は、工程（１）適当なポリマーの溶融
物を適当に設計された金型またはキャビティの中にこの
ようなポリマー系のために普通に使用されるプロセス条
件下に注入し、（２）金型中の溶融物が冷却した後、装
置の設計基準を満足するために適切な形状に造形された
ポリマーを金型から解放する、を包含する。さらに、吸
収性ポリマー材料から成形されたアンカーを有利にはア
ニリーングして、その機械的または生物学的性能を増加
することができる。また、熱的アニリーングを使用して
成形された部品の結晶化度を増加することによって、前
記部品の寸法安定性を増加することができる。１または
２以上の外科用縫合糸、あるいは１または２以上の外科

Ｇｌａｓｓ Ｃｏａｔｉｎｇ ｏｎｔｈｅ Ｂｏｎｄｉ
ｎｇ ｂｅｔｗｅｅｎ Ｂｏｎｅ ａｎｄ Ｔｉｔａｎ
ｉｕｍ Ｉｍｐｌａｎｔｓ゛に記載されているヒドロキ
シアパタイト含有ガラスのコーティングを包含する。

びるトラフをさらに形成する、上記第１５項記載の装

定められそして縫合糸をそれを通して受容する開口を具
備し、前記縫合糸の端は縫合糸アンカーのヘッドを越え
て延びる、ことを特徴とする、骨により定められた開口
内に受容される縫合糸アンカー。

ら前記縫合糸の端を通すための開口を形成する、上記第
２０項記載の装置。
【００５３】２２．前記足部分が前記ヘッドの外側に沿
って前記縫合糸を通すための少なくとも１つの開口を形
成する、上記第２０項記載の装置。
【００５４】２３．前記縫合糸がその１端から延びる少
なくとも１本の針を含む、上記第２０項記載の装置。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 ヘッド、 前記ヘッドから垂れ下がる拡張可能な本体、および前記
    拡張可能な本体内のくさび手段の相対運動により前記本
    体を拡張するためのくさび手段を具備することを特徴と
    する、人工要素、例えば、縫合糸の１端を保持する装
    置。
  2. 【請求項２】 トロカール内に受容されるための細長い
    区画、および前記スタッドをその中に受容するための、
    トロカール部分において終わる前記細長い区画に対する
    末端の先端を具備することを特徴とする、そのヘッドか
    ら延びるスタッドを有する型の縫合糸アンカーを挿入す
    るための挿入装置。
  3. 【請求項３】 それから垂れ下がる少なくとも２つの拡
    張可能な、内部の通路を形成する足部分を有するヘッド
    部分、 前記通路内に受容されかつ前記通路より大きい直径を有
    して、球がヘッドに向かって前記通路内を動くとき、前
    記足を広げる、球の拡張手段、 前記球により定められそして縫合糸をそれを通して受容
    する開口を具備し、前記縫合糸の端は縫合糸アンカーの
    ヘッドを越えて延びる、ことを特徴とする、骨により定
    められた開口内に受容される縫合糸アンカー。
