Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 分子量が少なくとも500,000のPTFEの水性分散液を剃刃ブレ ート刃先にスプレーして刃先上にPTFE被膜を形成させ、そのPTFE被膜を 酸素含有ガスの存在下で放射線量50Mradまでの電離放射線放射に付し、次 いでそのPTFE被膜を焼結させることを特徴とする、剃刀ブレード刃先上にポ リテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)被膜を形成させる方法。 2. PTFE出発物質の分子量が1,000,000乃至2,000,00 0の範囲である、請求項1に記載の方法。 3. PTFEの水性分散体が、0.15乃至0.5重量%のPTFEを含有 している、請求項1または2に記載の方法。 4. ブレード刃先上にPTFE被膜を形成させた後、電離放射線に当てるの に先立って、被覆済みブレードを酸素含有雰囲気に曝すことから成る、請求項1 、2または3に記載の方法。 5. 電離放射線が電子ビームまたはγ−線放射線である、請求項1乃至4の 何れか一つに記載の方法。 6. 放射線量が3乃至30Mradの範囲にある、請求項1乃至5の何れか 一つに記載の方法。 7. 放射線量が18乃至22Mradの範囲にある、請求項6に記載の方法 。 8. 放射線量が、上記PTFE中の約10重量%に該当する部分の分子量が 100,000未満の値に低減されるような線量である、請求項1乃至6の何れ か一つに記載の方法。 9. PTFEの照射を空気中で実施する、請求項1乃至8の何れか一つに記 載の方法。 10. 被覆済みブレード刃先を照射後、この被膜の焼結に先立ってブレード を酸素含有雰囲気に曝す、請求項1乃至9の何れか一つに記載の方法。
