Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.信号源によって生成されるRF信号を検出し、RF検出信号を生成する無線 周波数(RF)信号結合器回路であって: 上面および底面を有し、所定の誘電率を有する基板; 所定の形状を有し、前記基板の前記上面上に配置される第1伝送線であって、 前記RF信号に結合される第1伝送線; 前記基板の前記底面上に配置される第2伝送線であって、前記第2伝送線は、 前記第1伝送線に電磁結合され、前記RF信号の振幅に関連する振幅を有する前 記RF検出信号を生成する少なくとも第1および第2部分を有し、前記第1部分 は前記第1伝送線の一方側に対して第1の所定の距離だけオフセットされ、前記 第2部分は前記第1伝送線の他方側に対して第2の所定の距離だけオフセットさ れ、前記第1部分と前記第1伝送線との間の結合量は、前記第2部分と前記第1 伝送線との間の結合量と実質的に同じであり、前記第2伝送線は、前記第1およ び第2部分を相互結合する第3部分をさらに有する、第2伝送線; によって構成されることを特徴とするRF信号結合器回路。 2.前記第1伝送線は、所定の幅を有し、前記第2伝送線の前記第1および第2 部分は、前記第1伝送線の前記所定 の幅よりも小さい幅を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のRF信号結合器回 路。 3.前記第2伝送線は、前記第1伝送線の前記一方側に対して前記第1の所定の 距離だけオフセットされた第4部分を含み、前記第1部分と前記第4部分との間 の結合量は、前記第2部分と前記第1伝送線との間の結合量と実質的に等しく、 前記第2伝送線は、前記第2および第4部分を相互結合する第5部分をさらに有 することを特徴とする請求項1記載のRF信号結合器回路。 4.前記第2伝送線の前記第1部分は、前記第2部分と同じ長さを有することを 特徴とする請求項1記載のRF信号結合器回路。 5.前記第1の所定の距離は、前記第2の所定の距離に実質的に等しいことを特 徴とする請求項1記載のRF信号結合器回路。 6.前記基板の前記底面は、第2基板の上面に接着され、前記第2基板は、導電 コーティングで被覆された底面を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のRF信 号結合器。 7.無線周波数(RF)信号を増幅し、所定のパワー・レベルで送信機出力信号 を生成する送信回路であって: 前記RF信号を生成する信号源; 情報信号および利得制御信号に結合され、前記情報信号を可変利得だけ増幅し 、前記送信機出力信号を生成する増幅器であって、前記可変利得は、前記利得制 御信号の大き さに関連する、増幅器; 前記増幅器に結合され、前記送信機出力信号の振幅に関連する振幅を有するR F検出信号を生成する伝送線結合器であって、前記伝送線結合器はさらに: 上面および底面を有し、所定の誘電率を有する基板と; 所定の形状を有し、前記基板の前記上面上に配置される第1伝送線であっ て、前記送信機出力信号に結合される第1伝送線と; 前記基板の前記底面上に配置された第2伝送線であって、前記第2伝送線 は、前記第1伝送線に電磁結合され、前記送信機出力信号の振幅に関連する振幅 を有する前記RF検出信号を生成する少なくとも第1および第2部分を有し、前 記第1部分は、前記第1伝送線の一方側に対して第1の所定の距離だけオフセッ トされ、前記第2部分は、前記第1伝送線の他方側に対して第2の所定の距離だ けオフセットされ、前記第1部分と前記第1伝送線との間の結合量は、前記第2 部分と前記第1伝送線との間の結合量と実質的に同じであり、前記第2伝送線は 、前記第1および第2部分を相互結合する少なくとも1つの追加部分をさらに有 する、第2伝送線と; からなる伝送線結合器;および 前記RF検出信号に結合され、前記利得制御信号の大きさを調整して、前記送 信機出力信号を前記所定のパワー・ レベルで維持する制御回路; によって構成されることを特徴とする送信回路。 8.前記第1伝送線は、所定の幅を有し、前記第2伝送線の前記第1,第2,第 3および第4部分は、前記第1伝送線の前記所定の幅よりも小さい幅を有するこ とを特徴とする請求項7記載の送信回路。 9.前記第2伝送線の前記第1および第2部分の和は、前記第3および第4部分 の和と同じ合成長さを有することを特徴とする請求項7記載の送信回路。 10.前記第1の所定の距離は、前記第2の所定の距離に実質的に等しいことを 特徴とする請求項7記載の送信回路。
