Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.各セルにおいてそのセルにおける移動ステーション(MS)に接続される少 なくとも1つの基地ステーション(BTS1、BTS2)を備え、前記接続は、 トラヒックチャンネルと、1つまたはそれ以上の制御チャンネルとの両者を備え 、基地ステーションの送信は互いに同期されていないようなCDMAセルラー無 線システムにおいてハンドオーバーを行う方法であって、移動ステーションは、 ハンドオーバーを行う間、2つまたはそれ以上の基地ステーション(BTS1、 BTS2)との同時接続を確立した後、同じ拡散コードを使用して基地ステーシ ョンへ送信を行い、基地ステーションによって受信された信号は、基地ステーシ ョン制御器(BSC)等にて組み合わされるような方法において、移動ステーシ ョン(MS)が同時に通信している基地ステーション(BTS1、BTS2)は 、各々異なる拡散コードを使用して移動ステーションへ送信し、移動ステーショ ンは、異なる拡散コードでもって送信された信号の各々を、互いに独立した異な るレーキ受信ユニットによって受信し、復調し、組み合わせし、各受信ユニット は、それが受信している基地ステーションからの信号で同期され、移動ステーシ ョンは、基地ステーションから受信され異なるレーキ受信ユニットによって組み 合わされた信号を組み合わせることを特徴とする方法。 2.基地ステーション(BTS1、BTS2)によって移動ステーション(MS )へ送信される信号におけるトラヒックチャンネルの内容は、各接続について同 じである請求項1記載の方法。 3.基地ステーション(BTS1、BTS2)によって移動ステーション(MS )へ送信される信号における制御チャンネルの内容は、各接続について異なる請 求項1記載の方法。 4.基地ステーション(BTS1、BTS2)によって移動ステーション(MS )へ送信される信号における同期の差は、5ミリ秒より大きくない請求項1記載 の方法。 5.各セルにおいてそのセルにおける移動ステーション(MS)に接続される少 なくとも1つの基地ステーション(BTS1、BTS2)を備え、基地ステーシ ョンの送信は互いに同期されていないようなCDMAセルラー無線システムに使 用する移動ステーションであって、該移動ステーションにおける受信機は、レー キ技法を用いて実現されており、1つのレーキ受信ユニットは、制御ユニット( 53)および受信された信号が入力される多数の相関器(51a〜51c)と、 異なるブランチによって受信された信号を組み合わせる手段(52)とを備えて おり、さらに、送信パワーを調整する手段(37)を備えているような移動ステ ーションにおいて、各々が異なる基地ステーション(BTS1、BTS2)から 供給される信号で同期され得て且つそれら信号を受信し、復調し、組み合わせる ことのできる少なくとも2つの独立したレーキ受信ユニット(41、42)と、 該受信ユニットの出力から供給される信号を組み合わせる手段(40)とを備え ることを特徴とする移動ステーション。 6.前記受信ユニットによって受信された制御コマンドに基づいて所望の送信パ ワーを選択する手段(43)を備える請求項5記載の移動ステーション。 7.前記所望の送信パワーは、最も低い送信パワーを与える前記受信ユニットに よって受信された制御コマンドにしたがって選択される請求項6記載の移動ステ ーション。
