パネリング
本発明は請求項1に前提として記載したようなパネリングに係わる。このよう
なパネリングは特に船舶構造において貯蔵及び貨物スペースを仕切るのに利用さ
れる。
特に冷凍船や水産加工船ではこの種の多くのスペースが必要であり、外部空間
に対して隔離しなければならない。スペースは例えば頑丈なアルミ形材のような
非中空の底板をその縁端部に沿って桟または隅材から成るフレームに連結したの
ち、壁面及び天井を構成するパネルをねじ止めすることによって画定する。パネ
リングには従来船舶用合板や簡単なアルミ薄板が使用されている。このようなパ
ネルにはその長手縁をシール材でシールされた。これらのパネルは組立てコスト
が高くつくだけでなく、組立ててから手を加えるからパネリングの表面が不均一
になるという欠点がある。
溝/突縁咬合接合方式で合板も使用されているがこれも同様にシール材で事後
処理される。この合板の場合、溝と突縁は接合側縁に形成されていて合板平面の
方向に協働する。従ってこの合板を扱うには細心の注意が必要であるから多大の
時間を要する。また、各合板間の継目を咬合後にシールしなければならないから
パネリング表面が不均一になる。
従って本発明の目的は扱い易く、組立てた状態における表面が光学的に美しく
、洗い易い頭書のようなパネリングを提供することにある。
頭書のようなパネリングにおいて、請求項1に特徴として記載の
構成によってこの目的が達成される。
本発明のパネリングは長手縁に沿って溝と突縁を有し、この溝と突縁が互いに
咬合するように形成した細長いパネルから成る。溝と咬合する隣接パネルの突縁
と当接するシール片を溝の近傍に設けることによって組立てが容易になる。
この方式には互いに連結されたパネルをあらためて互いにシールしなくてもよ
いという利点がある。従ってこれらのパネルの組立ては極めて簡単に行うことが
できる。本発明の他の利点として、溝と突縁との間に介在させたシール片は外部
から見えない。これによりパネル全体の外観が場合によってはパネリング表面か
ら突出することがある咬合後に塗布されるシール材によって損なわれることがな
い。極めて迅速かつ容易にパネルを互いに組立てることを可能にする本発明の好
ましい実施態様では、溝も突縁も例えばC字形のような円弧状断面を呈するよう
に形成することにより、互いにヒンジ状に咬合させる。すでに組立てられている
パネリングの平面と角度を形成するようにすでに組立てられているパネリングの
溝に突縁を当てがい、次いでドアのように円弧状溝へ回動させながら進入させる
ことにより、すでに組立てられているパネリングに簡単にパネルを連結すること
ができる。この場合、溝の前向き部分は継ぎ足すべきパネルの円弧状に弯曲した
突縁を囲んで摺動する水滴形または円形の断面を有することが好ましい。溝の裏
側には溝から張出したガイド面を設けることができる。このガイド面にあらたに
継ぎ足すべきパネルの突縁を当接させてから溝に向かってずらすことであらたに
継ぎ足すべきパネルの組立てが容易になる。従って、継ぎ足すべきパネルを溝の
開口へ正確に当てがう必要はない。ガイド面は溝の後壁を形成し、その延長部が
溝に達しているから、パネルの突縁をガイド面に当てれば、次いでパネルを溝に
むかって移動させるだけでパネルは自動的に溝へ導入される。従って、パネルを
簡単かつ迅速に組立てることができ、パネリングの表面は極めて平滑に、ひいて
は整然とした外観に形成される。従って、このパネリングは建築物や自動車の内
張りに使用できる。このパネリングは軽金属内張りに外観条件が課せられるよう
なあらゆる用途に好適である。
シール片はパネルの溝の近傍にフライス加工で形成した切欠き内に設けるのが
好ましい。この切欠き内に好ましくは円形断面を有するシール片を嵌入させ、必
要に応じて容易に交換できるようにする。嵌入させたうえでさらにパネルに接着
してもよいことはいうまでもない。シール片はシール用として従来利用されてい
る弾性ゴムまたはフォーム材で形成するのが好ましい。
パネリングに比較的高い機械的条件が課せられる場合には、パネルにT形材の
ような補強形材を設けるか、または二重壁に構成すればよい。
パネリングが例えば貨物船の冷凍室のような箱状構造に利用される場合には、
パネルによって構成される壁をそれぞれの互いに突き合わされる縁端を、パネル
の内側にねじ止めされる桟または隅材を介して互いに連結する。ねじの長さはパ
ネルの裏側からねじ止めする場合、パネルの表面から突出しないように選択され
る。
このパネリングは迅速に組立てることができ、洗い易く、しかも燃え難いこと
を要求される冷凍船や水産加工船にとくに好適である。これらの性質はすべて本
発明のパネルが具えている性質である。本発明のパネルはまた湿度に対して強く
、従って、食品貯蔵室の内張りに適している。本発明の好ましい実施態様を従属
特許請求の範囲に記述した。
本発明の実施例を添付の図面に沿って以下に説明する。添付図面のうち、

図1は部屋、建物または構造物の壁または天井の内張りに使用されるパネリン
グのパネル10を断面で示す。図示の断面はパネル長手方向と直交する方向から
みた断面である。パネル10はアルミ製であり、図上右側の長手縁に円弧状に弯
曲した突縁12を有する。突縁12は図示実施例の場合上向きに開口したC字形
を呈している。パネル10の他方の長手縁には突縁12と補完関係の、即ち、同
じく円弧状に形成された溝14を設けてある。溝14の正面側は水滴形または円
形の断面形状を有する縁端部16によって画定される
。この縁端部16は隣接パネル10の円弧状に弯曲した突縁12の枢動支点とし
て作用する。溝14の裏側または後壁はそのまま溝14へと移行するガイド面1
8によって画定される。溝底に断面が円形の切欠き20を設け、断面が円形のシ
ール片22をこれに嵌入させてある。パネル10はT形材13によって裏側から
補強されている。
2枚のパネルを連結する方法を簡単に説明すると下記の通りである。
新たに継ぎ足すべきパネル10の突縁12をすでに組立てられているパネル1
0のガイド面18に当接させる。その際、両パネルの前壁間に鈍角が形成される
ようにあらたに継ぎ足すべきパネル10の平面をすでに組立てられているパネル
10の平面に対して傾斜させる。次いで、この継ぎ足すべきパネル10をガイド
面18に沿って溝14にむかって移動させる。その結果、継ぎ足すべきパネル1
0の突縁12がすでに組立てられているパネルの溝14と咬合する。次いで、継
ぎ足すべきパネルをすでに組立てられているパネル10の平面まで枢動させるこ
とによって水滴形縁端部16の裏側に沿って突縁12を溝底14へ滑り込ませ、
両パネル10間に密封連結関係が得られるように継ぎ足すべきパネル10の突縁
12をシール片22と当接させる(図2)。溝/突縁連結部12,14における
両パネル10間のギャップ24は極めて小さいから、互いに連結されたパネルの
前壁11によって与えられるパネリングの平滑な正面が呈するすぐれた全体的外
観を損なうことがない。
図4は2枚のパネル10の互いに対向する縁端間に組込まれる継手用形材30
を示す。継手用形材30もパネル10と同様に円弧状に弯曲した縁端部16によ
って前壁に形成された溝14を有する。この縁端部16で継手用形材30はパネ
ル10にヒンジ連絡される。継手用形材30はその他端にも溝32を有し、対向
するパネル10のガイド面18に設けたシール片34に溝32が咬合する。
この継手用形材30を本発明のパネリングから形成された壁の継ぎ手形材とし
て利用する。
即ち、壁の両側縁から中央にむかって順次パネルを、上述した通りヒンジ動作
自在に連結する。次いで2枚のパネル10間に残る隙間を、隙間の一方の側縁を
形成しているパネル10の突縁12に継手用形材の溝14を咬合させることによ
って簡単に塞ぐことができる。ついで継手用形材30の溝32をヒンジ枢動させ
ることによってパネル10のガイド面18に設けられ、隙間の他方の側縁を形成
するシール片34に圧接させる。継手用形材30の溝32をパネル10のガイド
面18に設けたシール片34と咬合させた状態で継手用形材30の前壁11はパ
ネル10の前壁11と同一平面に位置する。
図4では隣接パネル10の突縁12と咬合させる時の継手用形材の位置を鎖線
で示した。
図5は図1ないし4に示したパネリングで壁と天井を形成された貨物船の貯蔵
または冷凍室を示す。
冷凍室は厚いアルミ床面形材40を含む。この床面形材は貨物船
、例えば水産加工船の中艙42に配置されている。床面形材40の外縁に沿って

桟46を介在させてねじ止めしてもよい。ねじの長さは冷凍室の中部に向いたパ
ネル10の前壁から突出しないように選択する。
パネリングのパネルによって形成される壁と冷凍室の上方に位置する次の中艙
42との間に断熱材48を設ける。本発明のパネリングによって形成される冷凍
室は迅速に組立てることができ、形状安定性が極めて高く、内壁は外観がすぐれ
