Abstract
をなくすことで風合いを改善し、又、縫製の作業性を向
上させ、更に、ブロッキング防止効果のあるゴムコーテ
ィング組成物を提供する。 【構成】 ゴム成分と溶剤とからなるゴムコーティング
布用コーティング組成物に、平均粒子径が 0.5〜20μm
の無機系化合物または有機系化合物の粉体を添加する。
Description
ティング組成物に関し、更に詳しくは6,6ナイロン、6
ナイロン、ポリエステル等の繊維布にシリコーン、ウレ
タン、クロロプレン等のゴムコーティング膜を形成した
衣類用、家庭用、間仕切りなどの耐火用、建築用シート
又はエアバッグ、シートベルト、シートなどの自動車用
の不織布に対し、ゴム特有のべたつき感を軽減し、手触
り感が良く、縫製時の作業性に優れ、又、耐ブロッキン
グ性に優れるゴムコーティング布を作成するのに好適な
コーティング組成物に関する。
ム被膜を形成することを目的としたゴムコーティング布
は形成されるシリコーン、ウレタン、クロロプレン等の
ゴム特有のベタツキ感が残るため、コーティング後のカ
ッティングや縫製工程時の作業性が著しく悪く、その改
善策としてタルクなどの付着性、滑り性の良い粉をゴム
膜表面へ打粉している。しかしこの方法は、工程コスト
も高いだけでなく、粉じんによる人体に及ぼす悪影響も
ある。又、表面に付着させているだけということで粉が
落ちやすく、効力を安定して発揮できない。又、逆に衣
類用、家庭用品など場合には、縫製後には粉を落とさな
ければならないため、打粉によるブロッキング防止、作
業効率改善は充分ではなかった。

製の作業性を向上させ、更に、ブロッキング防止効果の
あるゴムコーティング組成物を提供することを目的とす
る。
検討を行った結果、繊維へ形成されるゴムコーティング
剤へ、特定粒径の無機系及び有機系の粉体を配合し、又
これらと溶剤を併用して配合することによりベタツキ感
のないゴム被膜を形成し、風合い、作業性、ブロッキン
グ防止効果性に対し安定して特性を提供するゴムコーテ
ィング組成物が得られることを見出し、本発明を完成す
るに至った。即ち本発明は、ゴム成分と溶剤とからなる
ゴムコーティング組成物に、平均粒子径が 0.5〜20μm
の無機系化合物または有機系化合物の粉体を添加して成
るゴムコーティング布用コーティング組成物である。
発明に使用する無機系及び有機系の粉体は平均粒子径
0.5〜20μm であることを必要とし、好ましくは 1.0〜2
0.0μm である。粒子径が 0.5μm 未満のものはベタツ
キ感をなくすためにはかなりの量を添加しないと特性が
得られにくく、ゴム物性を弱める傾向があり、20μm を
越えるとコーティング性が劣る。無機系及び有機系の粉
体の具体例としては、水酸化アルミニウム、マイカ、ジ
メチルシルセスキオキサン、カーボン、ポリアミド、ポ
リフッ化エチレン等が挙げられる。又、粉体の形状は特
に限定されないが、好ましくは球状である。但し、鱗片
状のものは、ゴム物性を弱めやすい。とりわけ、粉体と
して、球状の水酸化アルミニウム及び/又はジメチルシ
ルセスキオキサンの使用が特に好ましい。粉体の配合量
はゴム量 100重量部あたり、10〜80重量部好ましくは20
〜50重量部である。10重量部未満では配合する効果がな
く、80重量部を越えて配合しても増加に見合う効果が得
られずゴム物性も弱まるからである。
ルエン、キシレン等の一般的な有機溶剤が挙げられる
が、上記粉体を均一に広げる作用が大きいことから、低
分子シロキサン、特に下記一般式(1) または(2) で表さ
れる環状または鎖状低分子シロキサンが好ましい。
なる水素原子又は1価の炭化水素基を表し、炭化水素基
としてはメチル基、エチル基、プロピル基などのアルキ
ル基、ビニル基、アリル基などのアルケニル基、フェニ
ル基、トリル基などのアリール基が例示され、これらの
うち合成のし易さ、原料の入手のし易さから、水素原子
又はメチル基が好ましい。前記一般式(1) で示される環
状シロキサンの繰返し単位の数m は3〜8の整数であ
る。9以上の場合は、揮発速度が遅く、コーティング皮
膜形成後の除去が困難となり不適である。揮発速度およ
び合成のし易さからはm は3〜6の整数が好ましい。ま
た前記一般式(2) で示される鎖状シロキサンの繰返し単
位の数n は0〜6の整数である。7以上の場合は、前記
環状シロキサンの場合と同様に、揮発速度が遅く、コー
ティング皮膜形成後の除去が困難となり不適である。揮
発速度からnは0か1〜3の整数が好ましい。また、そ
の添加量は、希釈前の粘度に従い、有機系ゴムまたは無
機系ゴム成分100 重量部に対し、20〜400 重量部で、コ
ーティング方法に適した粘度へ調整して使用する。
ムは、特に限定されるものではなく、周知の各種ゴムが
広く用いられるが、耐候性、加工のし易さ等から特にシ
リコーンゴムが好ましい。

無機ゴム表面に無機又は有機化合物の粉体が浮き出た状
態で硬化するので、表面のタック感を軽減し、衣類様と
しては風合いが好ましく、且つ縫製時の作業性が良く、
又、ゴム面同士が接触したときのブロッキング性を防止
する。

混合してコーティング剤Aを得た。

6,6 ナイロン布(420D)へゴム量60〜80g/m2になる様に
コーティングした。 比較例1 シリコーンコーティング剤Aのみを上記実施例と同様に
6,6 ナイロン布にコーティングした。 比較例2 溶剤を使用せずに、シリコーンコーティング剤Aに粉体
のみを添加したものを上記実施例と同様に6,6 ナイロン
布にコーティングした。次に、これらをオーブンにて以
下の様に処理し、シリコーン硬化被膜を形成させた布を
得た。
士の静摩擦係数、動摩擦係数及び SUS面とゴム面の静摩
擦係数、動摩擦係数を下記の条件で測定し評価した。 ・摩擦試験 ASTM-D1894 島津製作所(製);重錐 150g(SUS 304P) 速度 100mm/min 又、ゴムコーティング剤の6,6 ナイロン布への含浸性、
縫製台上での滑り性、ガラス面との密着性を評価した。
尚、布への含浸性、縫製台上での滑り性、ガラス面との
密着性は、以下のような基準で評価した。 ・布への含浸性 調製例1で得られたシリコーンコーティング剤Aに表1
に示す各種粉体及び各種溶剤を配合・混合したものを、
6,6 ナイロン布へゴム量60〜80g/m2になる様にコーティ
ングした時の、コーティング剤の布へのしみ込み易さを
観察し、次の3段階で評価した。 ○;良くしみ込み、布の表面から中まで均一になる △;布の表面部に多く残り、中まで十分にしみ込まない ×;布の表面部のみで中にはしみ込まない ・縫製台上での滑り性 得られた被膜形成布のゴムコーティング面を上にして、
縫製台上でミシンをかけた時の布の送り易さを観察し、
次の3段階で評価した。 ○;スムーズに布が送れる △;少々抵抗がある ×;抵抗がある ・ガラス面との密着性 ゴムコーティング面のベタツキ感を評価する方法として
行った。即ち、得られた被膜形成布を100mm ×200mm の
大きさにカットし、ゴムコーティング面をガラス板とエ
アーが入らないように密着させた。このガラス板を垂直
に立て、ガラス板に密着させた被膜形成布が自然落下す
る様子を観察し、次の3段階で評価した。 ○;3秒未満でガラス板から落下する △;3秒以上10秒未満でガラス板から落下する ×;ガラス板から落下するのに10秒以上かかる これらの結果を表1にあわせて示す。
Claims (6)
- 【請求項1】 ゴム成分と溶剤とからなるゴムコーティ
ング組成物に、平均粒子径が 0.5〜20μm の無機系化合
物または有機系化合物の粉体を添加して成るゴムコーテ
ィング布用コーティング組成物。 - 【請求項2】 粉体が、水酸化アルミニウム、マイカ、
ジメチルシルセスキオキサン、カーボン、ポリアミド及
びポリフッ化エチレンから選ばれる1種又は2種以上で
ある請求項1記載の組成物。 - 【請求項3】 粉体が、球状の水酸化アルミニウム及び
/又はジメチルシルセスキオキサンである請求項1記載
の組成物。 - 【請求項4】 粉体の配合量が、ゴム成分100 重量部に
対して10〜80重量部である請求項1〜3の何れか1項記
載の組成物。 - 【請求項5】 溶剤が、ゴム成分に可溶な有機系溶剤も
しくは低分子シロキサンである請求項1〜3の何れか1
項記載の組成物。 - 【請求項6】 溶剤が、下記一般式(1) および/または
(2) で表される揮発性シロキサンである請求項5記載の
