In the case of a cover plate in which the skin and the base are directly integrated with a cushion layer made of a foam, it is necessary to prevent the foam from being exposed from the joint between the skin and the base to improve the appearance. With metal inserts, the substrate covered the exposed portion of the foam).

As one of the lids that prevent the exposure of such foam,
As shown in FIG. 4, a skin d having a bent portion c directed inward of the lid b is attached to the lower die a, and an outer peripheral portion g of the base body f attached to the upper die e and the bent portion c are attached. It has been proposed to prevent the foam from being exposed by joining the outer peripheral portion g and the bent portion c so as to oppose each other (Jitsuko Sho 62).

However, according to the conventional technique of the above proposal, as shown in FIG. 5, before the foaming of the foam h, the bent portion c of the flexible skin d is bent by its own weight, and the outer peripheral portion of the base body f is bent. There was a gap α between the g and the g. When the foam h is boiled from the bottom as shown by the arrow X, the foam h pushes up the bent portion c and joins it to the outer peripheral portion g of the base body f.
In the case of boiling up from the direction of arrow Y, the foam h has a problem that it leaks from the gap α between the upper and lower molds a and e. In this way, when the foam leaks out, the appearance of the foam becomes poor due to the exposure of the foam, and the defective rate of foaming such as voids and roughness due to lack of foam becomes high,
Pre-processing such as applying a mold release agent between the upper and lower molds becomes necessary. Therefore, as shown in FIG.
When the outer peripheral portion g of the above is projected downward and abutted against the bent portion c of the skin d, the notation d is separated from the lower mold a and in extreme cases falls off like a two-dot chain line. Had a point.

In order to achieve the above object, an automobile interior article of the present invention includes a base body formed of a hard material in a desired shape, and a flexible skin including a surface portion and a side surface portion surrounding the surface side of the base body. An automobile interior product in which a cushion layer made of a foam is formed between the outer skin and the base to be integrated, and a step portion directed toward the center of the base is provided at a peripheral portion of a side surface portion of the outer skin. Is formed so as to be folded back to the outside of the base body, and a contact surface is formed on the outer periphery of the base body, the contact surface facing the step portion and in contact with the tip end portion of the step portion, and the contact surface of the step portion of the step portion. A recess is formed by the contact surface and the step so that the tip end is pressed by the slide mold.

Then, the molding method is such that the base body having a desired shape and having an abutting surface on the outer periphery is molded with a hard material, and the side surface portion of the flexible skin that surrounds the surface side of the base body and is composed of a surface portion and a side surface portion. A concave portion extending toward the center of the base body and a folded-back portion extending outward from the base body are formed in advance on the outer periphery, and the concave portion of the lower die holding the skin is held by a releasable slide die. , The mold is closed by an upper mold holding the base, and the folded portion and the contact surface of the base are polymerized in a pressure state by the slide mold and the upper mold, and between the base and the skin. After forming a cushion layer made of foam, there is a method in which the slide mold is released from the recess and the folded portion is cut on the abutting surface when the upper and lower molds are opened.

According to the above configuration, when the cushion layer made of foam is formed between the flexible skin and the base body to form an automobile interior part, the slide die is provided on the contact surface of the base body with the tip of the step portion. Since the parts are pressed against each other, even if the thickness of the foam is increased, it is possible to reliably and easily prevent the foam from leaking between the flexible skin and the base body. As a result, the appearance is good and it is possible to prevent foaming failure due to leakage of the foam.

Then, in this molding method, a concave portion extending toward the center of the base body and a folded portion extending outward from the base body toward the center side of the base body are formed in advance on the outer periphery of the side surface portion of the flexible skin, and the folded metal mold is formed by a slide mold in the concave portion Since the folded portion of the recess is polymerized under pressure with the contact surface of the base body, even if the thickness of the foam is increased, the base body and the skin are reliably polymerized,
As a result, it is possible to reliably and easily prevent the foam from leaking. Further, the slide mold can be freely released from the inside of the recess, and when the mold is released, the slide mold is released from the inside of the recess so as not to interfere with the taking out of the automobile interior parts. In addition, it is easy to cut the folded portion.

In FIG. 3C, the upper die 16 descends toward the lower die 13 and is closed. At this time, the folded-back portion 12 of the skin 2 and the contact surface 8 of the base body 3 are polymerized under pressure between the slide mold 14 and the upper mold 16 to seal the leakage of the foam 15. Then, the foam 15 is foamed by pressurizing and heating the mold to form the cushion layer 4. Next, as indicated by the chain double-dashed line, the upper mold 16 is opened upward, and the slide mold 14 is opened left and right to open the mold to take out the lid 1.

In the method of molding automobile interior parts, in the outer periphery of the side surface of the flexible skin, a concave portion extending toward the center of the base body and a folded portion extending outward from the base body are formed in advance, and a slide in the concave portion is performed. Since the mold is used to polymerize the folded surface of the concave portion with the contact surface of the base body under pressure, polymerization of the base body and the skin is ensured even if the thickness of the foam body is increased, and as a result, the foam body leaks. Can be reliably and easily prevented. Further, the slide mold is freely released from the inside of the recess, and when releasing the mold, it does not interfere with the removal of the automobile interior parts when released from the inside of the mold, and the folded part is easily cut. It is possible to reliably prevent the foam from leaking, save the pre-work such as applying the mold release agent between the upper and lower molds, and cut the extra bend to improve the appearance. You can get better.

1. A substrate formed of a hard material in a desired shape,
In a car interior product in which a flexible skin including a surface portion and a side surface surrounding the front surface side of the base body and a cushion layer made of a foam are formed between the skin and the base body to be integrated, A step portion toward the center side of the base body is formed on the periphery of the side surface portion of the skin so that the tip end portion is folded back to the outside of the base body, and the step portion of the step portion is provided on the outer periphery of the base body and faces the step portion. A contact surface that contacts the tip is formed, and a recess is formed by the contact surface and the step so that the tip of the step is pressed against the contact by a slide mold. Characteristic automobile interior parts.

2. A base material having a desired shape and having an abutting surface on the outer periphery is molded from a hard material, and the surface side of the base body is surrounded by the outer periphery of the side surface portion of the flexible skin including the surface portion and the side surface portion. A recessed portion extending toward the center of the base body and a folded-back portion extending outwardly from the base body are formed in advance, and the recessed portion is held by a releasable slide die among lower molds for holding the skin. The upper mold holding the substrate is closed, and the folded-back portion and the contact surface of the substrate are polymerized under pressure by the slide mold and the upper mold to form a foam between the substrate and the skin. After forming a cushion layer made of, the slide mold is released from the concave portion as the upper and lower molds are opened, and the folded portion is cut on the abutting surface.
