Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.鋭利なエッジを有する開いた遠位の端部を備えた実質的に可撓性の外管; 上記外管内に滑動可能に搭載され、閉じた遠位の端部と内径に通じるように形成 された開口部とを有する実質的に可撓性の内管; 組織を吸引して上記開口部と接触させるための、内管の遠位の端部の開口部を通 して真空に引く手段;および組織試料を上記開口部内に保持した状態で切断し動 脈から組織試料を引き抜く際に外管によって保護するための外管の鋭利なエッジ を内管の開口部上に移動させる手段; を具備する、動脈内に挿入して生体の動脈壁から組織試料を得るためのカテーテ ル。 2.内官の開口部が組織と接触する領域を形成する斜めに切られた、内管の内径 に通じる開口部の孔よりも大きい外面を有する請求の範囲第1項に記載のカテー テル。 3.外管の鋭利なエッジを内管の開口部上に移動させる手段が外管に取り付けら れた把手を含むものである請求の範囲第2項に記載のカテーテル。 4.外管の鋭利なエッジを内管の開口部上に移動させる手段が内管に取り付けら れた把手を含むものである請求の範囲第3項に記載のカテーテル。 5.真空に引く手段が内管の内径と流体的に繋がった管整合部を含むものである 請求の範囲第2項に記載のカテーテル。 6.閉じた遠位の端部に吸引チップが形成され、内管の内径と流体的に繋がる開 口部を有する実質的に可撓性の内管であって、該開口部は内管の外表面上に外周 囲部を有し、かつ該開口部は内管の内径に通じる孔よりも大きい内管; 上記内管上に滑動可能に搭載された実質的に可撓性の外管であり、開いた遠位の 端部として内管上を滑動する大きさを有し、内管の開口部と接触している組織を 切断するカッターチップを有する外管; カテーテルおよび内管と外管を相対的に操作するための、内管に取り付けられた 内管把手および外管に取り付けられた外管把手;および 組織を上記カッターチップにより切断し、組織試料を開口部内に保持して動脈か ら組織試料を引き抜く際に外管によって保護すべく、組織を上記開口部に接触す るように吸引するための、内管の内径を上記開口部を通して真空に引く手段; を具備する、生体の動脈内に挿入して動脈壁内層から生検用試料を得るためのカ テーテル。 7.開口部が斜めに切られた外面を有するように形成された請求の範囲第6項に 記載のカテーテル。 8.カッターチップの開いた端部が鋭利な外周状エッジを備えるように形成され ている請求の範囲第7項に記載のカテーテル。 9.カッターチップが金属で形成されている請求の範囲第8項に記載のカテーテ ル。 10.外管が高分子材料で形成されている請求の範囲第9項に記載のカテーテル 。 11.吸引チップが金属で形成されている請求の範囲第10項に記載のカテーテ ル。 12.内管が高分子材料で形成されている請求の範囲第11項に記載のカテーテ ル。 13.内管が遠位の端部においてより径の大きな管材によって強化され、外管把 手がこのより径の大きな管上を滑動するものである請求の範囲第12項に記載の カテーテル。 14.開いた遠位の端部を有するように形成された外管上に滑動可能に搭載され た、開口部と閉じた遠位の端部を有するように形成された内着を有するカテーテ ルを動脈内に挿入し; 内管の開口部の位置を外管の遠位の端部よりも外側に設定し; 内管を真空に引いて動脈壁組織を内管に形成された前記開口部内に吸引し; 外官を内管上に滑動して開口部内に保持された組織を切断して保護し;そして 生検用試料を開口部内に保持して外管によって保護したまま内管と外管を動脈か ら取り出す操作を含む、生体の動脈の動脈壁内層から生検用試料を得る方法。 17.外管が開いた遠位の端部に鋭利な外周状エッジを有するように形成されて いる請求の範囲第14項に記載の生検用試料を得る方法。 18.a)鋭利なエッジを有する開いた遠位の端部が形成された実質的に可撓性 の外管; 上記外管内部に滑動可能に搭載され、閉じた遠位の端部と内径に通じるように形 成された開口部とを有する実質的に可撓性の内管; 動脈壁から組織を吸引して上記開口部と接触させるための、内管の遠位の端部の 開口部を通して真空に引く手段;および 動脈壁から得た組織試料を切断し保持するための、外官の鋭利なエッジを内管の 開口部上に移動させる手段;を有するカテーテルを動脈内に挿入し;b)動脈壁 をカテーテルに接触させ; c)動脈壁の内層から生検用試料を切り取り;d)生検用試料をカテーテル内に 形成された開口部内に保持し;そして e)生検用試料を保持したままカテーテルを引き抜く;操作を含む、生体の動脈 の動脈壁内層から生検用試料を得る方法。 19.局所に特定された狭窄部を含まない動脈の部分において動脈壁をカテーテ ルに接触させ;動脈の内層から生検用試料を切り取り;生検用試料をカテーテル 内に形成された開口部内に保持し;そして 生検用試料を保持したままカテーテルを引き抜く操作を含む、生体の動脈から生 検用試料を得る方法。 20.動脈が全般に細くなっているという特徴を有するものである請求の範囲第 19項に記載の方法。 21.動脈が先に行くに連れて細くなっているという特徴を有するものである請 求の範囲第19項に記載の方法。 22.動脈が正常で健康な動脈である請求の範囲第19項に記載の方法。 23.動脈の疾患を診断するために生検試料を分析する操作をさらに含む請求の 範囲第19項に記載の方法。
