Description
Claims (55)
- 1.組織を介し患者の体部に接近する管状医療装置と、前記組織の外側の前記装 置に最初位置する中空管状鞘と、前記鞘を前記体組織に位置決めする前記装置に 関連するプシャー手段との組み合わせであって、前記装置と前記プシャー手段が 前記体組織から除去されたとき体組織から生ずる出血合併症を少なくする、組み 合わせ。
- 2.前記鞘は、一般に剛的な外側被覆と内側コアとを有する、請求項1の組み合 わせ。
- 3.前記鞘は、コラーゲン、ゼラチン、セルロース、吸収可能なポリマーおよび それらの併用よりなるクラスに限定される材料により製造される、請求項2の組 み合わせ。
- 4.前記鞘の前記外側被覆は生物吸収可能である、請求項2の組み合わせ。
- 5.前記鞘の前記外側被覆はゼラチンにより製造される、請求項4の組み合わせ 。
- 6.前記鞘の前記外側被覆は非生物吸収可能である、請求項3の組み合わせ。
- 7.前記鞘の前記外側被覆は部分的に生物吸収可能である、請求項3の組み合わ せ。
- 8.前記鞘の前記内側コアは前記外側被覆よりも吸収可能である、請求項2の組 み合わせ。
- 9.前記鞘の前記内側コアは前記外側被覆により圧縮される、請求項8の組み合 わせ。
- 10.前記鞘の前記内側コアはコラーゲン、ゼラチン、吸収可能なポリマーおよ びそれらの併用よりなるクラスに限定される材料により製造される、請求項9の 組み合わせ。
- 11.前記鞘の前記内側コアは生物吸収可能である、請求項10の組み合わせ。
- 12.前記鞘の前記内側コアは非吸収可能である、請求項10の組み合わせ。
- 13.前記鞘の前記内側コア材料はコラーゲンである、請求項12の組み合わせ 。
- 14.前記鞘はトロンビンを含み出血を少なくする、請求項1の組み合わせ。
- 15.前記鞘は、それを半径方向に膨張させるためその長手に沿う縦方向に延長 するスリットを有することにより前記鞘は前記治療装置の周りに挿入される、請 求項2の組み合わせ。
- 16.前記鞘は末端部分と基端部分とを有し、前記末端部分は容易に変形して前 記接近体部の前記組織の周りを変形しそれに付着して流体が漏れないようにする 請求項1の組み合わせ。
- 17.管状医療装置に取り付けできる中空管状鞘であって、前記医療装置は体の 組織に挿入でき、前記鞘を前記体組織に入れるため医療装置と鞘に関連する手段 を備え、前記鞘はゼラチン、コラーゲン、セルロース、生物吸収可能なポリマー およびそれらの併用よりなるクラスに限定される材料により製造される一般に鞘 的な外側ケーシングを有し、前記鞘は、変形し前記体組織に付着する末端部分を 有する、中空管状鞘。
- 18.前記鞘の変形可能末端部分は、前記鞘が前記体の組織に接触後前記鞘の前 記外面被覆を越えて延長ずる、請求項17の鞘。
- 19.前記鞘は、コラーゲン、ゼラチン、セルロース、吸収可能なポリマーおよ びそれらの併用よりなるクラスに限定される材料により製造される内側コアをさ らに含む、請求項18の鞘。
- 20.前記内側コアは膨張可能で、体液を吸収する、請求項19の止血鞘。
- 21.前記内側コアは前記組織への適用前に圧縮される、請求項19の止血鞘。
- 22.さらにトロンビンを含み出血を少なくする、請求項17の鞘。
- 23.さらに、縦方向に貫通して前記鞘を前記管状医療装置の周りに挿入させる スリットを含む請求項17の鞘。
- 24.管状医療装置と組み合わせる中空管状鞘であって、前記装置は体器官また は体管へのトランスカタニアス接近に使用され、前記管状鞘は前記装置と前記鞘 に関連する手段を受け入れ、前記鞘を、前記体器官または体管に接近する場所に 位置させる、中空管状鞘。
- 25.前記鞘は、一般に円筒形で、前記医療装置が横断する前記組織を十分に圧 縮する大きさの外径を有し、出血を少なくする、請求項24の組み合わせ。
- 26.前記鞘は生物吸収可能である、請求項24の組み合わせ。
- 27.前記鞘は、硬化ゼラチンまたはコラーゲンであり、出血をさらに少なくす るため物質としてトロンビンを含む、請求項24の組み合わせ。
- 28.前記鞘は非生物吸収可能である、請求項24の組み合わせ。
- 29.人間の患者内の体の組織に接近する管状医療装置に使用される、縦方向に 延長する管状開口を有する管状鞘であって、前記鞘は、出血を少なくするため前 記体に接近する組織に挿入されるようにした、管状鞘。
- 30.前記鞘はまた、前記体に接近する前記体を密封またはふさぐようにした請 求項29の鞘。
- 31.前記体は血管であり、前記管状鞘は、医療装置から生ずる前記血管の開口 を密封する一方同時に前記体開口に隣接するサブカタニアス組織からの出血を防 ぐようにした、請求項30の鞘。
- 32.前記鞘は円筒形外面と、前記外面に隣接する管状内側コアとを有し、前記 外面は最初前記内側コアより堅い、請求項29の鞘。
- 33.前記内側コアは吸収材であり、体液との接触により膨れて前記識方向に延 長する中央開口を実質的に遮断することによって前記体が前記接近場所でふさが れる、請求項32の鞘。
- 34.前記外面は生物吸収可能で、前記内側コアを半径方向外方に膨出させ、前 記体組織に隣接するサブカタニアス組織を圧縮して前記傷からの出血を少なくす る、請求項33の傷。
- 35.前記傷は、末端に隣接して縦方向に延長する末端部分と、基端に隣接して 縦方向に延長する基端とを有し、前記末端部分は前記基端部分よりも柔軟であり それによって前記末端部分は前記体に接近する場所で前記体組織の周りで変形す る、請求項33の鞘。
- 36.人間の体部に接近するため使用される管状医療装置による傷を封じまたは ふさぐ方法において、下記の工程よりなる方法:a)管状医療装置を備えること ; b)前記管状医療装置を患者の皮膚に挿入して患者の体部に接近すること;c) 前記患者の皮膚の外側の前記医療装置の周りに中空管状鞘を備えること、および 前記鞘に接触する前記医療装置の周りにプシャー装置を備えること;d)前記中 空管状鞘を前記プシャーによって、前記管状医療装置が接近する前記体部に大体 隣接する場所へ押すこと;およびe)前記装置と前記プシャーとを患者から除去 する一方前記鞘を放置して前記管状医療装置により生じた傷を封じること。
- 37.前記鞘は、一般に剛的な外側被覆と内側コアとを有する、請求項36の方 法。
- 38.前記鞘は、コラーゲン、ゼラチン、セルロース、吸収可能なポリマーおよ びそれらの併用よりなるクラスに限定される材料により製造される、請求項37 の方法。
- 39.前記鞘の前記外側被覆は生物吸収可能である、請求項38の方法。
- 40.前記鞘の前記外側被覆はゼラチンにより製造される、請求項39の方法。
- 41.前記鞘の前記外側被覆は非生物吸収可能である、請求項38の方法。
- 42.前記鞘の前記外側被覆は部分的に生物吸収可能である、請求項38の方法 。
- 43.前記鞘の前記内側コアは前記外側被覆よりも吸収可能である、請求項37 の方法。
- 44.前記鞘の前記内側コアは前記外側被覆により圧縮される、請求項43の方 法。
- 45.前記鞘の前記内側コアはコラーゲン、ゼラチン、吸収可能なポリマーおよ びそれらの併用よりなるクラスに限定される材料により製造される、請求項37 の方法。
- 46.前記鞘の前記内側コアは生物吸収可能である、請求項45の方法。
- 47.前記鞘の前記内側コアは非吸収可能である、請求項45の方法。
- 48.前記鞘の前記内側コア材料はコラーゲンである、請求項47の方法。
- 49.前記鞘はトロンビンを含み出血を少なくする、請求項36の方法。
- 50.前記鞘はその長手に沿い縦方向に切り開かれ、さらに前記鞘を前記医療装 置の周りに挿入するため前記鞘を半径方向に膨張する工程を含む、請求項36の 方法。
- 51.前記鞘は末端部分と基端部分とを有し、前記末端は容易に変形し、さらに 前記鞘の前記末端部分を度形して前記末端部分を接近した前記体部の組織に合わ せて前記体部の接近開口からの体液の漏れを少なくし体液の漏れを防ぐ工程を含 む、請求項36の方法。
- 52.さらに、前記鞘が前記体の前記組織に接触した後前記鞘の前記外側被覆を 越えて前記末端部分を半径方向に膨張する工程を含む、請求項51の方法。
- 53.前記内側コアは膨張可能で、体液を吸収する、請求項37の方法。
- 54.前記内側コアは吸収材であり、体液との接触により膨れて前記鞘の縦方向 に延長する中央開口を実質的に遮断することによって前記体が前記体部開口でふ さがれる、請求項53の方法。
- 55.前記外側被覆は生物吸収可能で、前記内側コアを半径方向外方に膨出させ 前記体組織に隣接するサブカタニアス組織を圧縮して前記傷からの出血を少なく する、請求項37の方法。
