Claims (17)
- 1.式(I) ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼(I)[式中、各基Rは同一又は異なり炭素 数が1〜4のアルキルであり、aは1〜4である] のペンダント基を有する表面を与えることを含む、微生物が表面に付着する程度 を減少させる方法。
- 2.式(I)の基において基Rがそれぞれメチルであり、aが2である請求の範 囲1に記載の方法。
- 3.バクテリアが表面に付着する程度を減少させる、請求の範囲1又は2に記載 の方法。
- 4.式(I)の基を有する1つ又はそれ以上の化合物で表面を処理する、請求の 範囲1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 5.リン脂質又はその類似体である式(I)の基を有する化合物で表面を被覆す る、請求の範囲4に記載の方法。
- 6.リン脂質が、各脂肪酸側鎖の炭素数が2〜26のホスファチジルコリンの脂 肪酸ジエステル、又は異なる式(I)の基を有するその類似体である、請求の範 囲5に記載の方法。
- 7.リン脂質類似体が式(II) ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼(II)[式中、Zは請求の範囲1で定義し た式(I)の基であり、Q1及びQ2の少なくとも1つは式(III) ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼(III)の基であり、ここでkは0又は1 であり、X2は脂肪族又は環状脂肪族基であり、Y2はHあるいは1価の脂肪族 又は環状脂肪族基であり、各Q1及び/又はQ2におけるX2及びY2の炭素数 の合計は8〜26であり、Q1及びQ2の他方は(a)同一又は異なり式(VI I)の基であるか、あるいは(b)炭素数が少なくとも8の脂肪族又は環状脂肪 族基である]のジアセチレン性リン脂質である、請求の範囲5に記載の方法。
- 8.式(I)のペンダント基が、式(I)の基を有する重合可能な化合物の重合 又は共重合により、あるいは式(I)の基を有する重合可能な化合物のポリマー 基質へのグラフト重合により得られるポリマー化合物により与えられる、請求の 範囲1〜7のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 9.式(I)の側鎖が: 式(I)の基を有する重合可能なコモノマー及び物理吸着、共有結合又はイオン 結合によりコポリマーを表面に結合させることができる基を有するコモノマーの 共重合により得られる;あるいは式(I)の基、及び物理吸着、共有結合又はイ オン結合によりポリマーを表面に結合させることができる基を含む重合可能な化 合物を重合又は共重合させることにより得られるポリマーにより与えられる、請 求の範囲8に記載の方法。
- 10.ポリマーが (a)式(I)の基を有するアクリレート、アルカクリレート、アクリルアミド 、アルカクリルアミド又はスチレン誘導体;及び(b)物理吸着により表面に結 合することができる基を有するアクリレート、アルカクリレート、アクリルアミ ド、アルカクリルアミド又はスチレン誘導体: (c)及び場合により1つ又はそれ以上の希釈コモノマーの共重合により得られ るコポリマーである、請求の範囲9に記載の方法。
- 11.コモノマー(b)が物理吸着可能な基として炭素数が6か又はそれ以上の アルキル基を含む、請求の範囲10に記載の方法。
- 12.式(1)のペンダント基が、式(I)の基を有する重合可能な化合物の重 合又は共重合により得られるポリマーの本体材料により与えられる、請求の範囲 8に記載の方法。
- 13.式(I)のペンダント基が、式(I)の基を有し、表面上の活性基と共有 結合を形成することができる活性基を有する非ポリマー化合物で表面を処理する ことにより与えられる、請求の範囲4に記載の方法。
- 14.微生物が表面に付着する程度を減少させるための、式(I)▲数式、化学 式、表等があります▼(I)[式中、各基Rは同一又は異なり炭素数が1〜4の アルキルであり、aは1〜4である] の基を有する化合物の利用。
- 15.バクテリアが表面に付着する程度を減少させるための、請求の範囲14に 記載の利用。
- 16.微生物付着を受け易い環境における、式(I)▲数式、化学式、表等があ ります▼(I)[式中、各基Rは同一又は異なり炭素数が1〜4のアルキルであ り、aは1〜4である] のペンダント基を含む表面を有する製品の利用。
- 17.製品が、式(I)の基を有する重合可能な化合物の重合又は共重合により 得られる本体材料を含み、その材料が微生物接触面となる、請求の範囲16に記 載の利用。
