Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.常圧蒸留残油炭化水素フィードストックから、脱れき油とブライトストック 抽出物とから選択される実質的に非発癌性の物質を製造する方法であって、次の 工程: (a)突然変異誘発性指数と、前記物質のプロセス流の突然変異誘発性を示す前 記物質の物理的特性との間の回帰によって関数的な関係を確立する工程と;(b )前記物質の突然変異誘発性指数が実質的に1.0以下である特定の値に達した ら、前記関係から前記物質の臨界的な物理的特性のレベルを決定する工程と(c )前記臨界的な物理的特性のレベルに達する前記物質を製造するためのプロセス 条件を設定する工程と; (d)突然変異誘発性指数が実質的に1.0以下である特定の値を有する実質的 に非発癌性である前記物質を製造する工程と;を含んで成ることを特徴とする方 法。 2.突然変異誘発性指数の前記特定の値が0.0に実質的に等しく、それによっ て前記物質が突然変異誘発活性を実質的に有さずに製造されることを特徴とする 請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 3.前記物質が脱れき油であり、前記脱れき油の製造工程が次の工程:(e)常 圧蒸留残油フィードストックを真空蒸留塔に通し、そこで該フィードストックを 少なくとも1種の蒸留生成物と真空蒸留塔残渣副生成物とに分離する工程と: (f)前記真空蒸留塔残渣副生成物の少なくとも一部のフラクションを、選択的 溶剤脱れき装置に通して、脱れきラフィネートとアスファルト性抽出物とを製造 する工程と; を含んで成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項類は第2項に記載の方法。 4.工程(c)が、選択的溶剤脱れきの前に前記真空蒸留塔残渣と一緒にするた めのオーバーフラッシュ物質の量の設定を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第3 項に記載の方法。 5.前記オーバーフラッシュ物質の量を、脱れき油の収量が最大となるように選 択することを特徴とする請求の範囲第4項に記載の方法。 6.前記オーバーフラッシュ物質の量が、選択的溶剤脱れき装置フィードストッ クの実質的に10容量%を超えないことを特徴とする請求の範囲第4項又は第5 項に記載の方法。 7.前記物質がプライトストック抽出物であり、前記プライトストック抽出物の 製造工程が次の工程: (e)常圧蒸留残油フィードストックを真空蒸留塔に通し、そこで該フィードス トックを少なくとも1種の蒸留生成物と真空蒸留塔残渣副生成物とに分離する工 程と; (f)前記真空蒸留塔残渣副生成物の少なくとも一部のフラクションを、選択的 溶剤脱れき装置に適して、脱れきラフィネートとアスファルト性抽出物とを製造 する工程と; (g)前記脱れきラフィネートの少なくとも一部のフラクションを、少なくとも 一つの選択的溶剤抽出装置に通して、前記脱れきラフィネートの芳香族含量を減 じて、ブライトストックとブライトストック抽出物とを製造する工程と;を含ん で成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項又は第2項に記載の方法。 8.前記選択的溶剤抽出装置の選択的溶剤が、フルフラール、フェノール、クロ ーレックス、ニトロベンゼン及びn−メチルーピロロドンから成る群から選択さ れることを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。 9.選択的溶剤がフルフラールであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第8項に記載 の方法。 10.オーバーフラッシュ物質を工程(e)によって製造し、この物質の少なく とも一部を前記真空蒸留塔残渣と一緒にして、工程(f)〜(g)によって処理 することを特徴とする請求の範囲第7〜9項のいずれかに記載の方法。 11.工程(c)が、選択的溶剤脱れきの前に前記真空蒸留塔残渣と一緒にする ためのオーバーフラッシュ物質の量の設定を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第 10項に記載の方法。 12.前記オーバーフラッシュ物質の量が、ブライトストック抽出物収量を最大 にするように選択されることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第11項に記載の方法。 13前記オーバーフラッシュ物質の量が、選択的溶剤脱れき装置フィードストッ クの実質的に10容量%を越えないことを特徴とする請求の範囲第11項又は第 12項に記載の方法。 14.前記選択的溶剤脱れき装置の選択的溶剤が、プロパンであることを特徴と する請求の範囲第3〜13項のいずれかに記載の方法。 15.前記物理的特性が、蒸留特性であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1〜1 4項のいずれかに記載の方法。 16.前記蒸留特性が、蒸留沸点であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第15項に 記載の方法。 17.前記蒸留沸点が、初留点と5%沸点とから成る群から選択されることを特 徴とする請求の範囲第16項に記載の方法。 18.真空蒸留塔残渣の溶剤脱れきによって製造される、脱れき油とブライトス トック抽出物とから選択される非発癌性物質であって、構造中に3〜7環の多核 芳香族化合物を実質的に含まないことを特徴とし、そして、実質的に1.0以下 である特定の値の突然変異誘発性指数を有する、前記非発癌性物質。 19.突然変異誘発性指数の前記特定の値が0.0に実質的に等しく、それによ っ前記物質が突然変異誘導発活性を実質的に有さないことを特徴とする請求の範 囲第18項に記載の非発癌性物質。
