For example, in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-118699, a plurality of pads, a sensor and a sound source corresponding to each pad are provided in the same housing, and when an arbitrary pad is struck, the sound source corresponding to the pad emits sound. An electronic percussion instrument is disclosed.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the above example, when an arbitrary pad is hit, its vibration propagates in the housing, causing other pads to vibrate and sounds other than those intended by the player are also produced. Therefore, each pad has a structure that mechanically isolates the propagation of vibration.

However, such mechanical means cannot completely insulate the propagation of vibrations, and when struck hard, an unintended sound may still be generated.

Therefore, if a more complete insulation is attempted by using mechanical means, the structure becomes complicated and the cost is inevitably high.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the characteristic of the electronic percussion instrument according to the present invention is that the vibrations respectively generated on a plurality of striking surfaces are detected and the vibrations are detected. In an electronic percussion instrument for generating a sound source driving signal, (a) a striking detecting means for detecting vibrations respectively generated on the striking surfaces, and (b) corresponding to a first striking surface detected by the striking surface detecting means. Comparing means for calculating the difference or ratio between the detected value and the detected value corresponding to the second striking surface; and (c) corresponding to the first striking surface corresponding to the difference or ratio calculated by the comparing means. And a control means for controlling the sound source driving signal so that it does not sound.

(Operation) According to the present invention, the intensities of the hits detected by the sensors are compared with each other, and it is determined whether or not the output of the sensor is caused by the propagation of the vibration due to the hit to another pad, and The pad separation can be improved.

Explaining with the flowchart below, the CPU 4 switches the multiplexer 2 in step SP1, guides the output of the hit detection unit to the A / D converter 3 in order, reads it as a digital value, and stores it in the memory corresponding to each pad.

Therefore, if the read value is smaller than the value stored in the memory corresponding to the other pad, the ratio or difference between the value of the memory corresponding to the other pad and the read value is calculated, and the ratio or When the difference is larger than the predetermined value, it is determined that the read value is obtained because the vibration of the impact on the other pad propagates, and the sound source corresponding to the read value is not sounded.

However, in the above, if the value read by the CPU 4 is larger than the value stored in the memory corresponding to another pad,
It goes without saying that the sound source corresponding to the read value is sounded.

(Effects of the Invention) According to the present invention, as described above, in an electronic percussion instrument having a plurality of pads in the same housing and provided with a sensor and a sound source corresponding to each pad, vibration of other pads By mechanically electrically detecting the mechanical propagation and comparing it with the detection output of the pad that has been hit, only the pad that is truly hit can be detected and sounded.
