Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the economically effective method for culturing a plant, by reutilizing an used vinylic polymer or used polyethylene without using such expensive rock wool as by the conventional water culture method. CONSTITUTION:An used vinylic polymer or polyethylene is cut into small pieces and subsequently used for sowing seeds or planting seedlings for the growth of plants by the same method as by the conventipnal water culture using rock wool. The small pieces of the vinylic polymer or polyethylene are wound with a net and subsequently processed into a flower pot. Or a ship-shaped bed is made of a foamed polystyrene, and a seedling bed is made of the small pieces in the ship for raising a plant.
