Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 粘性が高いか、または、殻粒、果実の種子、
繊維のような粒子を含有する製品に対して使用されるの
に適し、また、製品残留物が集まり勝ちな密封フラップ
またはフィンが形成されないようにパッケージの横方向
密封を行う装置を提供する。 【構成】 少なくとも1層の金属箔を含有し、熱可塑性
物質により被覆されたパッケージ積層材料(11)を密
封する装置。装置は高周波電流源に連結された誘導子
(1)を有する。誘導子(1)は、磁性材料の芯材
(5)と共に電気的絶縁キャリヤ部分(4)内に配置さ
れた3個の平行な伝導体(2,3)を有する。伝導体
(2,3)は、伝導体(2,3)の面(7)内の電流密
度が等しくなるように配置されている。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、少なくとも1層の、好
ましくはアルミニウムの金属箔を含有し、熱可塑性物質
により被覆されたパッケージ材料を密封する装置にし
て、該装置が高周波電流源に連結され、ほぼ平行で僅か
に隔置された伝導体と、磁性材料の芯材と、電気的に絶
縁するキャリヤ部分とを備えた誘導子を有する装置に関
する。
【0002】
【従来の技術とその問題点】パッケージ工業界において
は、熱可塑性の外層をもつパッケージ材料にして、これ
ら外層が加熱、圧縮後の溶融により一緒に密封され、緊
密にして耐久性のある密封結合またはシームを実現する
ことが出来るパッケージ材料を使用することが久しい以
前から知られていた。例えば、かかる材料が充填機械を
通してウェブ形態で供給され、重ね結合により長手方向
に密封され、管に形成されている。この材料管が、所望
の内容物を充填され、その後、管は独立のパッケージを
形成するように横方向に密封、切断され、以後の工程に
おいて、例えば平行6面体のパッケージまたはカートン
形態に最終的に成形される。横方向密封が所謂誘導密封
により行われる場合には、好ましくはアルミニウム箔の
ような金属箔を含有するパッケージ材料を使用すること
が理想的である。かかる誘導密封のための装置は、スウ
ェーデン特許SE 451973 に開示されている。
この例では、誘導電流がパッケージ材料のアルミニウム
層内に誘導され、この電流がアルミニウム層に隣接して
置かれた熱可塑性層を加熱し、該熱可塑性層を対応する
熱可塑性層に対して密封させることが出来る。しかし、
上記特許明細書に記載されたパッケージ素材を横方向に
密封する方法は、粘性の高い製品や、殻粒、果実の種
子、繊維のような粒子を含む製品をパッケージするのに
は不適当であることが判った。上記の方法によれば、2
個のほぼ平行な横方向密封が行われ、その間で、パッケ
ージ管が独立のパッケージ素材を形成するように切断さ
れる。この場合、横方向密封の外側に製品の残留物が蓄
積するであろう密封フラップまたはフィンが形成され
る。これら製品の残留物は、パッケージの保存の際、非
常に不快な非健康的な外観を呈する。

【本発明の目的および目的を達成するための手段】本発
明の目的は、粘性の高い製品や、殻粒、果実の種子、繊
維のような粒子を含む製品に対して適切な、また、製品
の残留物が集まるであろう密封フラップまたはフィンが
存在しないようにパッケージの横方向密封を行なう誘導
密封のための装置を実現することである。この目的およ
び他の目的は、冒頭に述べた形式の装置にして、伝導体
が数において3個であり、伝導体内の電流密度がほぼ等
しくなるように配置されていることを特徴とする本発明
により実現される。本発明の好適実施例はさらに、従属
特許請求の範囲に記載の特徴を有している。以下、本発
明の好適実施例を付図を参照して詳細に説明する。

【実施例】本発明の誘導子1が図1に示されている。誘
導子1は、電気的絶縁キャリヤ層4内に置かれた3個の
ほぼ平行な伝導体2,3を有し、キャリヤ層4はその内
部にフェライト材料の芯材5を収容している。フェライ
ト材料の芯材5は3個の伝導体2,3から絶縁されてい
る。外側伝導体2は共に、緩やかに丸められた断面か、
正方形または長方形断面を有している。外側伝導体2は
共に内部に冷却液を通すための冷却ダクト6を形成され
ている。中心伝導体3は、ほぼU字形の外観を有してい
る。各伝導体はその上面7に、周囲の面7から約0.3
mm突出しているビードまたは稜部14を有している。
3個の伝導体2,3は好ましくは、高周波交流電源(図
示せず)に並列に連結されている。このような例では、
中心伝導体3には相当高い電流力が得られるのである
が、中心伝導体3の(上方に開いたU字形の)形態のた
めに、3個の伝導体の上面7における電流密度がほぼ等
しい誘導子1が得られる。
【0005】本発明の誘導子1はまた、コンデンサーを
用いて直列に誘導的に連結させてもよい。誘導子1は鋼
体8により補強されており、誘導子1全体は、所望の密
封運動を加えられて所望の密封圧力を生じさせる密封顎
9内に置かれている。密封顎9は、同じように動き得る
対向顎10に向かって動くように作動する。横方向に密
封されるべきパッケージ材料11が、密封顎9と対向顎
10との間に進められる。パッケージ材料11は、両顎
9,10の間に、一緒に溶融または密封されるべき2個
の熱可塑性層12が互いに対向するように置かれる。2
個の密封顎9,10が互いに向かって移動し、横方向に
密封されるべきパッケージ材料11を顎の間に捕らえた
とき、3個のほぼ平行な密封線を有する密封が、真ん中
の密封線が最も広い領域をもって形成される。2個の密
封顎9,10が互いに押し付けられると、伝導体上の稜
部14が、僅かに大きい圧縮力を局部的に生じさせ、よ
り信頼性が高く緊密なパッケージ材料11の密封を形成
するのに貢献する。パッケージ材料11は、可動の対向
顎10内に置かれたナイフ13が材料11を通り中心伝
導体3のU字形溝の中へと移動することにより、真ん中
の密封結合またはシームにおいて切断される。

【発明の効果】本発明の誘導子1を用いて横方向密封を
行った後には、あり得る製品残留物は、外側伝導体2の
横方向密封と中心伝導体3の横方向密封との間に閉じ込
められる。かかる場合、あり得る製品残留物は、パッケ
ージの残りの部分と同じく無菌である材料のなかに閉じ
込められ、例えば、繊維、果実の種子、または殻粒を含
んだ製品を容器内に充填することに対する障害とはなら
ない。中心密封結合またはシームにおいて切断されたパ
ッケージは、製品残留物が集まるような密封フィンを有
していない。上記説明から明らかなように、本発明は、
パッケージ素材を切断し、独立のパッケージを形成する
際、密封フィンまたはフラップが形成されないような、
パッケージ素材を横方向に密封する装置を実現してい
る。本実施例においては、高い粘性の内容物、または、
果実の種子、殻粒、または繊維のような粒子を含有した
内容物を充填するのに非常に適した横方向密封が得られ
る。本発明は、上記記載および付図に限定されると考え
られるべきではなく、添付された特許請求の範囲に記載
の精神および範囲から逸脱することなく多くの改変が考
えられる。

Claims (9)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 少なくとも1層の、好ましくはアルミニ
    ウムの金属箔を含有し、熱可塑性物質により被覆された
    パッケージ材料(11)を密封する装置にして、該装置
    が高周波電流源に連結され、ほぼ平行で僅かに隔置され
    た伝導体(2,3)と、磁性材料の芯材(5)と、電気
    的に絶縁するキャリヤ部分(4)とを備えた誘導子
    (1)を有し、前記伝導体(2,3)が数において3個
    であり、該伝導体(2,3)内の電流密度がほぼ等しく
    なるように配置されていることを特徴とする装置。
  2. 【請求項2】 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記3
    個の伝導体(2,3)の真ん中のもの(3)がほぼU字
    形の溝を形成していることを特徴とする装置。
  3. 【請求項3】 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記伝
    導体(2,3)が並列に連結されていることを特徴とす
    る装置。
  4. 【請求項4】 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記伝
    導体(2,3)が直列に連結されていることを特徴とす
    る装置。
  5. 【請求項5】 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記伝
    導体(2,3)が誘導的に互いに結合されていることを
    特徴とする装置。
  6. 【請求項6】 請求項5に記載の装置において、前記伝
    導体(2,3)がコンデンサーを介して誘導的に結合さ
    れていることを特徴とする装置。
  7. 【請求項7】 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記誘
    導子(1)が密封顎(9)内に配置され、該密封顎
    (9)が対向顎(10)に対して押し付けられるように
    されており、一方、密封しようとする材料(11)が前
    記顎(9,10)の間に収容されるようになっているこ
    とを特徴とする装置。
  8. 【請求項8】 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記伝
    導体(2,3)が、僅かに突出した長手方向の稜部(1
    4)を有し、パッケージ材料(11)の部分に対する圧
    縮力が、前記稜部(14)に沿って密封のため局部的に
    増加するようにされていることを特徴とする装置。
  9. 【請求項9】 請求項8に記載の装置において、前記稜
    部(14)の高さが約0.3mmであることを特徴とす
    る装置。
