Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a transparent sheet having high frequency weldability and excellent abrasion resistance by providing a layer composed of an acrylic resin obtained by partially crosslinking acrylic rubber containing an acrylic rubber component in a compounding ratio of 10-30% to the single surface of a mixed resin sheet of copolymerizable monomers other than ethylene in a thickness of 50% or less with respect to the total thickness of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A transparent sheet is composed of a mixed resin of at least one or more kind of a copolymer selected from an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, an ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer and an ethylene/acrylic ester copolymer. Since the fusion and weldability due to a high frequency welder are affected by a polymerization ratio of copolymerizable monomers other than ethylene in the case of this resin, the polymerization ratio is set to 10-30%. In order to impart flexibility and elongation to a single surface, an acrylic resin obtained by partially crosslinking acrylic rubber containing an acrylic rubber component in a compounding ratio of 10-30% is applied in a thickness of 50% or less with respect to the total thickness of the sheet. Respective single layer sheets are laminated, for example, by a dry lamination method.

The soft vinyl chloride sheet has flexibility which can be controlled by blending a plasticizer and is excellent in transparency. However, as a part of the recent problems of waste, there is a problem of generation of harmful gas during incineration of vinyl chloride, and there is an increasing demand for an alternative material from the field utilizing soft vinyl chloride.

Although there are many required characteristics of the soft vinyl chloride substitute, important in the fields of small cases, notebooks, files, covers for covering, etc. are conventional high frequency welder suitability, flexibility and transparency. As a material satisfying these characteristics, the present inventors have already selected at least one or more selected from a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, a copolymer of ethylene and acrylic acid, and a copolymer of ethylene and acrylic ester. A composition was proposed in which a filler of magnesium silicate was added to the mixed resin of. (Japanese Patent Application No. 4-10749

However, in the case of a transparent sheet, further abrasion resistance is required. This is because if the abrasion resistance is poor, the transparency deteriorates due to scratches that have been scratched during use. The copolymers of ethylene and vinyl acetate, the copolymers of ethylene and acrylic acid, and the copolymers of ethylene and acrylic acid ester are all materials with relatively poor abrasion resistance, and as such substitutes for soft vinyl chloride, I was dissatisfied with the points.

The acrylic resin partially crosslinked with the acrylic rubber used in the present invention is, specifically, a resin obtained by blending a polymethylmethacrylate resin with an acrylic rubber component and partially crosslinked. The resin is fused and welded by a high frequency welder. And also has abrasion resistance equivalent to that of soft vinyl chloride. Specifically as the acrylic rubber component,
Examples thereof include an ethyl acrylate-acrylonitrile copolymer, a butyl acrylate-acrylonitrile copolymer, an ethyl acrylate-glycidyl methacrylate copolymer, and a methyl methacrylate-glycidyl methacrylate copolymer.

The acrylic rubber component imparts the polymethylmethacrylate resin with the lack of flexibility and elongation, and for this purpose, a blending amount of 10% or more is required. But,
If the acrylic rubber component exceeds 30%, the transparency is significantly lowered and the workability is also lowered.

Further, even with an acrylic resin whose flexibility and elongation are improved by blending the acrylic rubber component as described above, a single layer sheet cannot provide sufficient flexibility and elongation to substitute for soft vinyl chloride. Therefore, at least one selected from the copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, the copolymer of ethylene and acrylic acid, and the copolymer of ethylene and acrylic acid ester, which is the most characteristic of the present invention, is formed. By laminating with a mixed resin, it was possible to achieve both flexibility and abrasion resistance equivalent to those of soft vinyl chloride. The flexibility is particularly affected by the ratio of the thickness of the acrylic resin layer to the total thickness, and is 50% of the total thickness.
If it exceeds%, sufficient flexibility cannot be obtained.
