Description
Claims (10)
- 1.デジタル・セルラ・システムにおいて担当基地局を介して通信信号を交信す る通信装置のハンドオーバ・ターゲットを選択する方法であって: A)タイミング前進値と第1閾値とを比較する段階;B)前記タイミング前進値 が前記第1閾値を越える場合に、前記担当基地局に隣接していない基地局を含む ため基地局周波数リストを修正する段階;およびC)前記修正された基地局周波 数リストから、前記通信装置に最も高い相対的RSSI値を与えるハンドオーバ ・ターゲットを選択する段階; によって構成されることを特徴とする方法。
- 2.前記修正された基地局周波数リストを前記通信装置に送信する段階をさらに 含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 3.前記修正された基地局周波数リストのRSSI値を前記通信装置によって測 定する段階をさらに含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 4.前記測定されたRSSI値を前記担当基地局に送信する段階をさらに含んで 構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 5.前記選択されたハンドオーバ・ターゲットにハンドオーバする段階をさらに 含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 6.デジタル・セルラ・システムにおいて担当基地局を介して通信信号を交信す る通信装置のハンドオーバ・ターゲットを選択する装置であって: A)タイミング前進値と第1閾値とを比較する手段;B)前記担当基地局に隣接 しない基地局を含めるため基地局周波数リストを修正する手段;およびC)前記 修正された基地局周波数リストから、前記通信装置に最も高い相対的RSSI値 を与えるハンドオーバ・ターゲットを選択する手段; によって構成されることを特徴とする装置。
- 7.前記修正された基地局周波数リストを前記通信装置に送信する手段をさらに 含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の装置。
- 8.前記修正された基地局周波数リストのRSSI値を前記通信装置によって測 定する手段をさらに含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の装置。
- 9.前記測定されたRSSI値を前記担当基地局に送信する手段をさらに含んで 構成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の装置。
- 10.前記選択されたハンドオーバ・ターゲットにハンドオーバする手段をさら に含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
