Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 小さな発光源で大きな発光をする発光体であ
る。 【構成】 透明な発光媒体（２）にテーパー状の穴に凹
凸をつけ、光の吸収を良くし外側を透明にして、発光面
の光の透過性を増幅し全体が均一に発光するようにし
た。

【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】この発明は小さな光源で棒状及び
面状の発光体をつくるものである。

【従来の技術】従来は棒状、面状の固体を発光させるの
に、図６のように多くの発光源を整列して並べ発光させ
ていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】この発明は小さな発光
源で大きな発光体を作ることにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】図１のように透明な発光
媒体に穴をテーパー状にあけ、内面に凹凸をつくり半透
明にして高輝度な発光源を、それに当てると凹凸が光を
吸収して発光する。テーパー状にしているのは、光は直
進性があるので内面全部が光を吸収して発光媒体（２）
全体が明るく発光させるようにしている。

【作用】このような形状にすると発光媒体全体が均一な
発光体になる。

【実施例】多くの発光源を用いた物に比べ、少ない発光
源で大きな発光体ができるので、表示板、デジタル表示
器、照光表示灯イルミネーション、アクセサリー等用途
は広い。図４のように一方向だけの発光によるため周囲
を反射率の良い鏡状のものを塗布、はりつけ、あるいは
蒸着させ、発光面（４）の表面に凹凸をつけると均一な
照光面となる。図５は、より大きな面状の発光体を作る
ための参考例である。尚発光穴（３）内面に種々の蛍光
塗料を塗れば効果は大である。

【発明の効果】発光源が少ないとそれらによる温度上昇
が少なくなり少エネにもなる。しかもこの発光体だと従
来方式に比べ光源の数がすくなくてすみ、従来の点によ
る集合体に比べ見やすく価格も安価に製造することがで
きる。
