Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 1.その反対側に供給された外部力を測定するセンサにおいて、第1の電極対を 提供するために絶縁的部材で形成された薄い、アレキシブルなパッキング・シー トに取り付けられ且つ保持された複数のフレキシブルで導通的な電極と、 第2の電極対を提供するために絶縁的部材で形成された薄い、フレキシブルなパ ッキング・シートに取り付けられ且つ保持されたフレキシブルで導通的な複数の 第2の電極と、 前記第1および第2の電極対は、互いに第1および第2の電極が相対して位置付 けされ且つ第1の対の電極が第2の対の電極とクロスするような複数の交差を形 成する角度で第1の対の電極が第2の対の電極にクロスする様に配置されること と、 各々の交差で電極間に抵抗物質が配置される様なパターン内の電極対の少なくと も1つの対に供給された圧力感知抵抗物質の層と、第1および第2の電極対を前 記相対した関係に固着するために置極の交差の間に領域内の第1および第2の電 極対の少なくとも1つに供給された粘着性層とを備えたことを特徴とするセンサ 。
- 2.前記粘着性層が、空気が前記電極対の内部からその周囲に逃げることを許容 する為の粘着性が存在しない通路を与えることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に 記載のセンサ。
- 3.前記粘着性層は、少なくとも1つの前記電極対の電極間の領域内に粘着性物 質のストライプを含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第項に記載のセンサ。
- 4.前記粘着性層が、少なくとも1つの前記電極対の各々の電極の間の領域内に 粘着性物質の複数のドットを含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載のセ ンサ。
- 5.前記粘着性層が、少なくとも1つの前記電極対の各々の電極の間の領場内に 粘着性物質の複数のドットを含み、且つ該ドットが、前記第1および第2の電極 対が前記相対する関係にある場合に前記第1及び第2の電極対の互いの電極の間 の領域に配置されたことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載のセンサ。
- 6.前記粘着性物質のドットが、交差している前記第1および第2の電極の隣接 した組によって規定される各々の四辺形内に存在することを特徴とする請求の範 囲第5項に記載のセンサ。
- 7.各々のターミナルが各々の前記電極の1つと関連している該センサを外部回 路に接続するための複数のターミナルと、各々の導体が各々の前記電極の1つと 関連している、各ターミナルをその関連した電極に接続するための複数の接続さ れた導体であって、該導体はその残部の中間で関連する電極に接続されているこ とと、を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項乃至第6項のいずれかに記載の センサ。
- 8.前記導体は、前記導体と前記関連した電極間の接続の中断なしにその周囲の 少なくとも過半数の回りで終端され得ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項に記 載のセンサ。
- 9.各々が関連する電極対の各電極の1つに関連している、該センサを外部の回 路に接続するためのフレキシブルなパッキング・シートに取ワ付けられた複数の ターミナルと、 各々が前記電極の各1つと関連している各々のターミナルをその関連した電極に 接続するための前記パッキング・シートに取り付けられた複数の接続導体であつ て、該導体はその端部の中間で関連する電極に接続されていることと、前記複数 の接続導体の上に供給され且つ各々の接続導体と関連した導体の間に形成された 電気的接続を通してホールを含む薄い、フレキシブルな絶縁シートとを更に備え ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項乃至第6項のいずれかに記載のセンサ。
- 10.前記導体が、電極の端部の中間点で関連した電極に接続されたことを特徴 とする請求の範囲第9項に記載のセンサ。
- 11.前記接続導体が、前記導体と前記関連した電極間の接続の中断なしにその 周囲の少なくとも過半数の回りで終端され得る様に配列されたことを特徴とする 請求の範囲第9項に記載のセンサ。
- 12.前記粘着層の厚さは、外部力のない状態で前記交差で反対側の電極を離れ た状態に保持するに十分であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第9項に記載のセン サ。
- 13.前記粘着層の厚さは、各々の交差で、反対側の電極が予め負荷された力に より互いに接触するように維持されるに十分な厚さであることを特徴とする請求 の範囲第9項に記載のセンサ。
- 14.前記両方の電極対が更に、 各々が関連する電極対の各電極の1つに関連している、該センサを外部の回路に 接続するためのフレキシブルなバッキング・シートに取り付けられた複数のター ミナルと、 各々が前記電極の各1つと関連している、各々のターミナルをその関連した電極 に接続するための前記バッキング・シートに取り付けられた複数の接続導体であ つて、該導体はその端部の中間で関連する電極に接続されていることと、前記複 数の接続導体の上に供給され、且つ各々の接続導体と関連した導体の間に形成さ れた電気的接続を透してホールを含む薄い、アレキシブルな絶縁シートと、 を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項乃至第6項のいずれかに記載のセンサ 。
- 15.前記粘着層の厚さが、外部力のない状態で前記交差で反対側の電極を離れ た状態に保持するに十分であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項乃至第6項に 記載のセンサ。 16,前記粘着層の厚さは、各々の交差で、反対側の電極が予め負荷されたカに より互いに接触するように維持されるに十分な厚さであることを特徴とする請求 の範囲第1項乃至第6項のいずれかに記載のセンサ。
