Abstract
Description
Claims (21)
- 1.(a)血液成分分離のための自動化機器を用意し、(b)血液成分分離機お よび流路を形成する手段を含んでいるセットを用意し、 (c)セットを機器に装着し、 (d)分離機においてセットへ導入された血液を2種以上の成分に分離し、 (e)セットの流体流路を通って少なくとも2種の異なる血液成分へ同じあらか じめ選択した流体の量を添加し、異なる血液成分に異なる機能的特徴を増進させ る ステップを含むごとを特徴とする自動化血液成分分離操作の間異なる血液成分中 の異なる機能的特徴を増進させる方法。
- 2.前記第1および第2の成分の流体添加ステップとは別に、第3の血液成分へ あらかじめ選定した流体を添加するステップを含んでいる請求項1の方法。
- 3.(a)第2の成分の少なくとも一部分をドナーへ返還するステップ、および (b)第2の成分の少なくとも一部分を貯蔵容器へ移すステップの少なくとも一 つをさらに含んでいる請求項1の方法。
- 4.前記第1の血液成分は全血であり、そして前記第1の成分流体添加のステッ プは分離機の上流で流路手段中の全血へあらかじめ選定した流体を添加すること によってなされる請求項1の方法。
- 5.自動化された血液成分分離機器と、そして前記機器に装着されたセットを含 み、前記セットは血液成分分離機および流路手段を含み、前記機器は請求項1に 従って血液成分およびあらかじめ選定した流体添加ステップを実施するようにプ ログラムされていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 6.(a)血液成分分離のための自動化機器を用意し、(b)血液成分分離機お よび流路を形成する手段を含んでいるセットを用意し、 (c)セットを機器に装着し、 (d)分離機においてセットへ導入された血液を2種以上の成分に分離し、 (e)セットの流体流路を通って少なくとも2種の異なる血液成分へ抗凝固剤を 添加し、異なる血液成分に異なる機能的特徴を増進させる ステップを含むことを特徴とする自動化血液成分分離操作の間異なる血液成分に 異なる機能的特徴を増進させる方法。
- 7.前記抗凝固剤添加ステップは、 (a)分離機の上流で流路中のある位置で全血へ抗凝固剤を添加し、そして (b)分離機によって全血から分離された血小板リッチ血漿へ抗凝固剤を添加す る ことよりなる請求項6の方法。
- 8.前記抗凝固剤添加ステップは、分離機によって全血から分離された血小板リ ッチ血漿へ抗凝固剤を添加することよりなる請求項6の方法。
- 9.(a)血液成分分離のための自動化機器を用意し、(b)血液成分分離機お よび流路を形成する手段を含んでいるセットを用意し、 (c)セットを機器に装着し、 (d)分離機においてセットへ導入された血液を一つは血小板リッチ血漿である 2種以上の成分に分離し、(e)分離機によって分離された血小板リッチ血漿へ 抗凝固剤を添加する ステップを含むことを特徴とする自動化血液成分分離操作の間異なる血液成分に 異なる機能的特徴を増進させる方法。
- 10.前記抗凝固剤添加によってPRPの貯蔵を増進することを含む請求項9の 方法。
- 11.前記PRP抗凝固剤添加ステップは、全血中の抗凝固剤のレベルが前記P RP抗凝固剤添加ステップなしのレベルよりも低いことを許容し、それによって 分離機の血小板成分出力の高い血小板収量を増進する請求項9の方法。
- 12.分離機の血小板リッチ血漿成分出力中の高い血小板収量は前記PRP抗凝 固剤添加ステップによって増進される請求項11の方法。
- 13.(a)血液成分分離のための自動化機器を用意し、(b)血液成分分離機 および流路を形成する手段を含んでいるセットを用意し、 (c)セットを機器に装着し、 (d)分離機においてセットへ導入された血液を2種以上の成分に分離し、 (e)分離機の上流の流路中のある位置において全血へ約8%以下のレベルにお いて抗凝固剤を添加し、そして(f)分離機の下流の流路中のある位置において 採取した分離した血小板成分へ追加の抗凝固剤を添加するステップを含むことを 特徴とする自動化血液成分分離操作において血小板収量を増進する方法。
- 14.(a)(i)全血源と貯槽の間の流路手段を含んでいる全血アクセス手段 、 (ii)貯槽、 (iii)血液成分分離機、 (iv)貯槽と分離機の間を連通する貯槽流路手段、(v)分離機から下流へ延 びている第1の分画流路手段、(vi)分離機と貯槽の間を連通する赤血球流路 手段、(vii)種々の流路手段を通って血液および血液分画を動かすかすため の複数のポンプ を含んでいるマイクロプロセッサー制御血液分離システムを用意し、 (b)全血アクセス手段から貯槽へ全血をポンプし、(c)貯槽から分離機へ血 液をポンプし、(d)第1の分画流路手段を通って分離機から出る第1の分画を 移換し、 (e)赤血球を分離機から赤血球流路手段を通って貯槽へ移換し、 (f)貯槽の上流のアクセス手段流路中の全血へ抗凝固剤源から抗凝固剤をポン プし、そして (g)全血から第1の分画のあらかじめ選定した量の引出しの後、抗凝固剤を抗 凝固剤源から流路手段を通って分離された第1の分画ヘポンプする ステップを含むことを特徴とする自動化血液成分分離操作の間異なる血液成分に 異なる機能的特徴を増進させる方法。
- 15.分離した第1の分画へ抗凝固剤をポンプするステップは、抗凝固剤をアク セス手段を通って貯槽中ヘポンプすることを含む請求項14の方法。
- 16.分離した第1の分画へ抗凝固剤をポンプするステップは、得られた貯槽中 味を分離機中ヘポンプすることを含み、前記方法は分離機から出る抗凝固剤を分 離された第1の分画へ移換し、そして分離機から付加的な赤血球を貯槽へ移換す ることをさらに含んでいる請求項15の方法。
- 17.(a)第1の分画流路手段中にヘモグロビン検出器を用意し、(b)ヘモ グロビン検出器を第1の分画が十分に赤血球なしかどうかを決定するために使用 し、 (c)あらかじめ設定した標準に従って十分に赤血球なしでない第1の分画を貯 槽へ分流し戻す ステップをさらに含んでいる請求項14の方法。
- 18.(a)血液成分分離のための自動化機器を用意し、(b)血液成分分離機 および流路を形成する手段を含んでいるセットを用意し、 (c)セットを機器に装着し、 (d)分離機においてセットへ導入された血液を2種以上の成分に分離し、そし て (e)分離機の下流の流路中のある位置において抗凝固剤を少なくとも一つの分 離された成分へ添加するステップを含むことを特徴とする自動化血液成分分離操 作において血小板収量を増進する方法。
- 19.(a)血液成分分離のための自動化機器を用意し、(b)血液成分分離機 および流路を形成する手段を含んでいるセットを用意し、 (c)セットを機器に装着し、 (d)分離機においてセットへ導入された血液を2種以上の成分に分離し、そし て (e)分離機の上流の全血へ抗凝固剤を添加し、(f)分離機でつくった血液成 分へその機能的特徴を増進させる第2の流体を添加する ステップを含むことを特徴とする自動化血液成分分離操作の間異なる血液成分に 異なる機能的特徴を増進させる方法。
- 20.(a)セットを収容するための手段、(b)少なくとも2種の異なる血液 成分へあらかじめ選定した流体の量を添加するためのポンプ手段、(c)あらか じめ選定した流体を少なくとも2種の異なる血液成分へ添加するため前記ポンプ 手段を自動的に制御するためのマイクロプロセッサー制御手段を含むことを特徴 とする請求項1の方法を実施するための自動化機器。
- 21.請求項6の血液分離および抗凝固剤添加ステップを実施するための、自動 化血液成分分離機械と、該機械上に装着した使い捨て1回使用血液分離セットの 組合せからなる装置。
