Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fabric useful for e.g. cold weather clothes giving excellent heat storage thermal insulation with a small amount of heat storage thermal insulating agent by using specific spun yarns with a specified amount of carbon black dispersed homogeneously therein. CONSTITUTION:The objective fabric is obtained by using spun yarns which are produced by mixed-spinning at a mixed-spinning rate of <=30% (pref. 3-30%) of man-made fiber with <=5wt.% (pref. 0.1-1wt.% of carbon black pref. <=2mum in particle diameter dispersed homogeneously therein with another kind of fibers.

However, in order to obtain a practical heat storage and heat retention property with the above heat storage and heat retention fibers, it is necessary to contain a large amount of carbides, which reduces the physical properties of the yarn and leads to a guide in the manufacturing process. Etc.,
Alternatively, there has been a problem that a core-sheath type composite fiber containing a carbide in a core component must be formed in order to prevent damage to a guide or the like. The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional problems and provides a heat storage heat retaining cloth that exhibits excellent heat storage heat retention properties with a small amount of heat storage heat retention agent.

According to the present invention, an artificial fiber in which carbon black is uniformly dispersed at a content of 5% by weight or less is used as another fiber at a blending ratio of 30% by weight or less. A heat-storing and heat-retaining fabric, which is formed by using spun yarn that is mixed with.

The present invention will be described in more detail. The artificial fiber used in the present invention has a carbon black content of 5% by weight.
Below, it is preferably 0.1 to 1% by weight, and if it exceeds 5% by weight, the fiber performance is remarkably deteriorated, and fiber damage, fly, cotton drop, etc. in the spinning process rapidly increase, which is not preferable. In this case, it has been confirmed that even if the content of carbon black is 1% by weight or less, the heat storage heat retention performance is sufficiently maintained if the carbon black is uniformly dispersed in the fiber. ..

Therefore, depending on the color tone of the intended product, it is possible to deal with it by reducing the carbon black content, which is preferable from the viewpoint of improving the dyeing adaptability.

The method for producing artificial fibers containing carbon black may be a method for producing a general undiluted colored fiber, but it is important to uniformly disperse the carbon black in the fibers.
Depending on the particle size of the carbon black used, problems such as clogging of the spinning nozzle and uneven dispersion may occur, so it is desirable to use fine carbon black powder having an average particle size of 2 μm or less.

As for the blending ratio of fibers containing carbon black, as a result of diligent studies from the viewpoints of effectively exhibiting the heat retention effect and reducing the blackening of the fabric based on the carbon black containing fibers,
It has been found that even if the blending ratio is set to a low value of 30% or less, the heat storage and heat retaining effect is practically sufficient and the blackening of the fabric can be significantly reduced.

This fact shows that it is possible to widen the range of dyeing application by reducing the blending ratio of carbon black-containing fibers showing black color as much as possible.
Taking acrylic fiber as an example, when dyeing a cloth made of acrylic spun yarn in which carbon black-containing acrylic fiber is mixed at a ratio of 30% or less with a cationic dye, even if dyed with boiling water for 1 hour, the fiber It is possible to dye the blended white raw cotton portion under the same conditions as in ordinary dyeing without the bleeding of carbon black mixed in with, which is extremely desirable industrially.
