Claims (1)
- 排気ガスを絞り弁より下流の吸気通路に還流さ
せる排気還流通路と、この排気還流通路に開閉す
る開閉手段とを備えた排気還流装置において、前
記吸気通路内の吸気圧力を検出する圧力センサと
、前記開閉手段の開動作時の前記吸気圧力とその
閉動作時の前記吸気圧力との差を検出する圧力差
検出手段と、その圧力差に基づいて故障診断を行
う故障診断手段と、前記絞り弁の開度を検出する
スロツトル開度センサと、このスロツトル開度セ
ンサの出力を所定周期でサンプリングするサンプ
リング手段と、このサンプリング手段で得られる
各サンプリング値の移動平均をとる平均化手段と
、この平均化により得られる値が前記開閉手段の
動作期間中に所定値以上変動したか否かを検出し
所定値以上変動すれば前記故障診断を中止させる
故障診断中止手段とを設けたことを特徴とする排
気還流装置の故障診断装置。
