Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 海底ケーブルシステム用給電装置を有する
    第１、第２の端局と、これら端局間に複数直列に
    接続された海底中継器と、これら海底中継器の任
    意の間に設置されたＮ個の分岐装置と、それぞれ
    の海底分岐装置と第３〜第Ｎ＋２の端局とを結ぶ
    海底中継器を含まない海底ケーブルとを有する海
    底ケーブルシステム給電方式において、 第３〜第Ｎ＋２の端局に、各々海底ケーブルシ
    ステム用給電路を接地可能とするスイツチを備え
    たことを特徴とする海底ケーブルシステム給電方
    式。 (2) 第１の端局と、通信路及び給電路を含む海
    底ケーブル、１以上の海底中継器及び１以上の分
    岐装置を介して接続される第２の端局と、前記分
    岐装置に海底ケーブルを介して接続される１以上
    の第３の端局とから成り、一端が接地され他端が
    前記給電路に接続された給電装置を第１及び第２
    の端局に備え、前記海底ケーブルの給電路に障害
    が発生すると、少なくとも一方の端局から前記海
    底中継器に給電する海底ケーブルシステム給電方
    式であつて、 前記給電路を接地するスイツチを前記第３の端
    局に各々設け、前記給電路に障害が発生すると、
    障害箇所に応じて対応する前記スイツチを接地し
    、障害区間を除く区間の前記海底中継器に少なく
    とも一方の前記給電装置から給電する海底ケーブ
    ルシステム給電方式。
