Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a step device and a lifting platform in structure as well as to prevent any drop in strength by installing the step device separately from the platform and making this step device collapsibly stowable at a time when the platform is made to go up and down. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate part of an arm 42 is pivoted to a bracket 41 at the inner part of a lower wainscot 22 at a vestibule, while one end of this arm 42 is pivoted to a support member 38 as well, and a cylinder 43 is installed in space between the other end and the bracket 41. When this cylinder 43 is contracted, the arm 42 rotates counterclockwise, and the support member 38 is erected on a lifting platform 13, while a step member 39 comes to horizontality. With this constitution, the lifting platform 13 is usable as a part of the step. Next, when this platform 13 is lifted up and boarding or alighting is carried out by a wheelchair or the like, the cylinder is extended and if so, the arm 42 rotates clockwise, so that the support member 38 and the step member 39 are stored at the outside of an upper wainscot 40 in a state of being folded, thus the support member 38 comes to be flush with the lower wainscot 22 in storage. Therefore the lifting platform 13 is freely going up and down.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in the above structure, a plurality of flat plates are connected in a bending manner to form stair-like steps, resulting in a very complicated structure and complicated manufacturing. . In addition, when used as a flat platform, the strength of the platform decreases due to the flatness of multiple flat plates, and the large number of seams between the plates may cause wobbling when the wheelchair is moved on the platform. The problem is that it is easy.

After the elevator platform 13 has descended to its lowest position, the wheelchair gets on the elevator platform 13, and after getting on the platform, the stopper 45 is raised. In this state, the lifting cylinder 11 is contracted to raise the lifting table 13. At this time, since the span plate 20 closes off the space between the lifting platform 13 and the lower wall plate 22, it is possible to prevent the legs of the disabled person in the wheelchair from getting caught.
