DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a method for wetting fiber bundles such as slivers or rovings of hemp fibers or fibers blended with hemp fibers (hereinafter referred to as fiber bundles), that is, fiber bundles at least partially made of hemp fibers. The invention relates to a wet spinning method for spinning.

Conventionally, a wet spinning method in which staple fibers are moistened and drafted was developed in the 1970s.
Methods described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 7662 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 132230/1983 are known, but when spinning hemp fibers, these methods can cause misdrafts when the spinning speed is higher than 20 m/min. This has caused problems such as thread unevenness and thread breakage.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, as a result of various studies, the present inventor has found that misdrafts in wet spinning of hemp fibers and yarn irregularities and yarn breakages that occur along with the misdrafts are caused by the moisture content of pre-drafted fiber bundles. The present invention was completed based on these findings.

That is, the present invention provides a wet spinning method in which a fiber bundle, at least a portion of which is made of hemp fibers, is wetted and predrafted, then main drafted, false twisted, dried, and wound. This is a wet spinning method for hemp fibers, which is characterized by squeezing the liquid at a constant pressure using a pressure roller provided between a predraft zone and a main draft zone, and then main drafting.

以下に本発明を詳細に説明する。 The present invention will be explained in detail below.

FIG. 1 is a simplified side view showing an example of essential parts of an apparatus for carrying out the present invention. Fiber bundle 1 at least partially made of hemp fibers, either alone or in a blend of hemp fibers and other natural fibers, synthetic fibers, etc.
is first moistened by water supplied from the water supply nozzle 2, and then pre-drafted by a pair of back rollers 4, 4' and a pair of front rollers 5, 5' in a pre-draft zone 3. The liquid passes between a pair of pressure rollers 6, 6' provided in between, and is squeezed at a constant pressure to adjust the moisture content to be almost constant. ' and a pair of front rollers 9, 9', the yarn is main drafted, then false twisted by a false twisting nozzle 10, and spun as a yarn 1'.
It is dried by a drying device (not shown) and rolled up. The fiber bundle 1 is moistened with an aqueous solution containing water, an oil agent, or a sizing agent, and the false twisting by the false twisting nozzle 10 is performed with steam or a vortex of air.

In the present invention, the pre-drafted wet fiber bundle 1 is squeezed at a constant pressure by the pressure rollers 6, 6' provided between the pre-draft zone 3 and the main draft zone 7, as described above, to reduce the moisture content. is adjusted so that it is almost constant, so in the subsequent main draft,
The draft force becomes stable and the spinning speed increases.
Even at speeds of 20 m/min or higher, draft errors do not occur, and even at high speeds of 50 m/min or higher, yarn unevenness or yarn breakage due to draft unevenness does not occur, and stable spinning can be maintained.

As described above, the present invention makes it possible to stably spin high-quality yarn at a much higher speed than conventional methods.

Example Using the apparatus shown in Fig. 1, linen line sliver (70 gelens/6 yards) was first moistened by watering with a water supply nozzle, then drafted 2.5 times in a pre-draft zone, and then subjected to roller pressure. The sliver was squeezed with a 5 kg press roller to adjust the moisture content in the sliver to be almost constant, then drafted 8 times in the main draft zone, and then false twisted at an air pressure of 2.2 kg/cm 2 using a false twisting nozzle. ,
A yarn of approximately 10′S (Ne) was spun at a spinning speed of 100 m/min, dried in a drying drum at 180°C, and wound.
In this case, the spinning was good, there were no problems such as yarn breakage, and high quality yarn without yarn unevenness could be spun very smoothly.

On the other hand, when the pressure roller was not used, even at a spinning speed of 20 m/min, yarn breakage occurred frequently and a yarn with many irregularities was obtained.
