に超音波電気信号を印加して直線帯状弾性体を振
動させ、この直線帯状弾性体に設けた複数の突起
部に移動体を圧接し摩擦力により移動体を動かす
超音波リニアモータにおいて、 前記圧電振動子を極性を揃えて2組に分け、夫
々の組みの圧電振動子に互いにπ/2の位相差を
持つ超音波電気信号を印加し、直線帯状弾性体に
π/2の位相差を持つ定在波を生じさせ、前記2
つの超音波電気信号の位相差の符号を変えること
により定在波が合成されて生じる進行波の進行方
向を変えて、移動体の進行方向を切換えることを
特徴とする超音波リニアモータ。 2 前記直線帯状弾性体の端部から圧電振動子の
端部までの距離を圧電振動子の1/4の長さにした
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の超音波リニアモ
ータ。 3 前記直線帯状弾性体の両端から最近の節の位
置で直線帯状弾性体より弾性係数の大きくない支
持体で支持し、この支持部において直線帯状弾性
