  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 発光ダイオードから放射される光を物体の表面
    で反射させ、反射光の強さを光電変換素子によつ
    て電気信号に変換する反射光センサにおいて、 上記発光ダイオードの電源回路として設けられ
    当該発光ダイオードの順方向電流を制御する電流
    調整回路、 この電流調整回路により上記発光ダイオードに
    流れる電流の中心値を設定し、この中心値から正
    方向と負方向へ同量の電流値を変化させ、この同
    量の電流値の変化による上記光電変換素子の出力
    電流の正負方向の変化量を比較し、その比較結果
    により上記電流の中心値を変化することによつて
    最適中心電流値を決定する手段、 を備えたことを特徴とする反射光センサ。
